“It's getting worse”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2010

The food is cheap but the food quality is getting worse these years. Their chicken is always gamy. Asian Legend is much better than TK Wu now.

“Our new favorite local Chinese restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2009

As a lifelong resident of Ann Arbor, we had a routine when ordering Chinese (don't we all?). Anyhow, tonight we tried TKWu and we have found our new best friend. The food is fantastic; we stucked to our regular order for our first visit, but we will be jumping to their more authentic dishes the next time around. Another reviewer mentioned that it rivaled ChinaTown in San Fran.....and I would agree. Super clean and well designed restaurant. Prices are very competitive. Everyone there was warm and friendly....and funny! The restaurant is on Liberty Street....close to Central Campus (University of Michigan) and obviously enjoys a loyal following of students. Highly recommend :)

“excellent food, sweet hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2009

Someone we know recommended this restaurant. We are vegetarian so at first-read the menu didn't sound all that promising. But we did find vegetarian options and, even better, found them DELICIOUS! Unlike a lot of Chinese restaurants where they rely on the sauces to unify (or cover up) a dish, this restaurant seems to use high quality ingredients, accentuated with (rather than drowned in) tasty sauces. We had hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, vegetables with tofu, and eggplant in garlic sauce. All of it was delicious.
Afterwards, the very sweet hostess (owner?) came and gave us complimentary mango smoothie for desert. It was heavenly.
We would definitely go back!

“Great Chinese Food - Great Prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 23, 2009

We just happened upon this little restaurant in Ann Arbor recently, for lunch, and loved it! Living in Detroit we've always gone to Windsor for great Chinese food! This place rivals Windsor!! I would highly recommend the lettuce wrap appetizers, and the mongolian beef, the general tso's chicken, and the hot and sour soup was sublime. I'll definitely be going there again!! We did try the bubble tea - didn't know what to expect really - it's not bubbly and it's cold like a flavored ice tea - the pearl things are slimy - taste like gummy bears!! Too sweet for me, but hubby liked very much! Then again he likes iced tea - I don't!!
