Went to Gratzi during Restaurant Week. This was our 2nd visit, the 1st a few years ago during the summer. As you can imagine, the restaurant was crowded, due to Restaurant Week, though it was 1 of the few restaurants with openings on a Friday night when we made the reservation. Service was great, we never ran out of water, we were attended too with just the right amount of frequency, dishes cleared at the right time, etc. Our group stayed with 2 of the appetizer choices - calamari & tomato bisque soup. Both were good. For entries, we chose all 3 - risotto, salmon & chicken. Those choosing the salmon & chicken dishes were pleased. As a risotto lover I had to order it, especially since I was at an Italian restaurant. Big mistake. It was clearly the worst risotto I've ever eaten. Not much texture to the grain, no creaminess & the flavor was awful. Given all of the wonderful restaurant choices in Ann Arbor, it will be years before we give Gratzi another shot.
