“In 16 years of travelling on business once a month, one of my most pleasant stays”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2011

Although I've travelled a lot for business, this was a trip to pick my son up from school so I'd term it personal rather than leisure. The front desk staff was friendly, courteous, and very helpful. We had experienced car problems on the way there and the young lady at the desk, Betsy, provided us with mapquest directions to a car dealer as well as another repair place. She was also very helpful with restaurant selections. Parking was very convenient and carts were available to carry luggage in. There was a small business area with timed Internet access so that no one would hog the computer as will sometimes happen in other establishments and they also had wireless. They had a free breakfast buffet including sausage and eggs and even had a small, free dinner buffet which is a first in my experience. The room was immaculate, modern, and well appointed with microwave, refrigerator, larger screen TV, iron and ironing board, and blow drier. They had a choice of pillows on the beds as well and the beds were very comfortable. Climate control was excellent. They also had a nice sized pool and hot tub. Sound proofing was excellent and despite being right off the highway for easy access and close to U of Michigan, it was very peaceful and quiet. And the price was quite reasonable. The funny thing is, I'm not an easy person to please and this place did everything right. What more could you ask more?

The staff was very warm and friendly and willing to make your stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and the facilities in the rooms were just fine... had a small refrigerator, a microwave and a safe for valuables. Also had a small business center with a computer available for use.

Liked that the sink area and large mirror were outside the bathroom area.

The hotel was surrounded by good, reasonably priced family restaurants such as Bob Evans and Denny's.
Could improve on TV's.

Just stayed here for the UM-IOWA football weekend and the hotel was pretty much what I expected. We chose a suite which we booked well in advance on the AAA rate of $179 (for Homecoming Weekend in A2 I thought this was a good deal relative to other hotels that I looked at). The room was large and comfortable with a refrigerator and wet bar. We chose a second floor room and it was quiet - no complaints with noise. The TV in the living room had a pretty poor picture but we hardly watched it and the TV in the bedroom had no signal. There was a large jacuzzi tub in the bedroom but we didn't use it.

The location is right off I-94 which was convenient for us coming from the airport. Ann Arbor Taxi and Blue Cab were our transportation though we had a car.

The breakfast buffet was larger than we expected and had everything from sausage and bacon to eggs and bagels. No complaints though my wife and I had to hit our favorite breakfast spot (Angelo's) so we didn't take advantage of it except for a cup of coffee.

In all I would recommend staying here if you choose a suite. Our friends chose a regular room (at the same price) and it seemed really small.

After watching the Detroit Tigers get crushed by the White Six (12-2) we drove to this Comfort Inn. What a pleasant surprise. Nice big clean room with 2 Queen beds. Wireless worked fine in the room. TV was nice big flat screen but very limited selection. Pool was bigger than most and well maintained. Towels are poolside and plentiful. Hot tub worked great and was hot and relaxing. My sons used the treadmill and universal and the equipment worked fine. An extra treat was the free evening buffet that filled us up and saved a trip to a local restaurant. Breakfast in the AM was also better than most. Link sausage and eggs were actually edible for a change. The orange juice machine actually dispensed more oj than water. Will definitely stay hear again if passing through the area.

Stayed with 4 small kids (7 years and younger) with the wife in a 1 King suite. Perfect for families. Decor a little dated but clean. Free hot breakfast (eggs/sausage + continental fare) and free Wi-Fi a great value. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn also and believe this place is a better deal especially for the suite. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with group of people, were not allowed to use breakfast room to eat Pizza and enjoy each other during the evening. The lady said we could RENT IT for $100. NEVER NEVER have been treated worse by a staff. Other Hotels go out of their way to make us feel welcome, not this staff. I WOULD STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE

This is the hotel I alway use when working in the Ann Arbor area. It's clean, and the rooms are acceptable (nothing spectacular.) They offer a free food set up in the early evening (the food is just okay, but free always tastes better!) The mall is very close, and there are a number of good restaurants that are a short drive (Joe's Crab Shack for one!) The continental breakfast is above average. I have stayed here a few times, and have always been treated well by the staff. If you need to go to U of M, it's not far away. The only real knocks on the place is that it can be a pain to get in and out of the place, and the selection of T.V. channels is weak. That being said, I will stay here again next time I'm working in the Ann Arbor area.
