Walk in and step back into time with cocktails, small plates or full dinner in this polished, dark wood atmosphere. The cocktails - hot and cold, individually and expertly crafted, were served in coupe or old fashion glassware. We had several among our group. Each one was wonderful.
We chose small plates to pass to one another. The best choices for unexpected flavor pairings were the roasted cauliflower with lentils and parmesan and the surprisingly smokey-flavored octopus salad. Do try the grilled flatbread too. Ice cream is hand-churned. The chartreuse saffron-flavored selection got mixed reviews. The cream texture quickly became more pasty to some of us. Coffee was hot and fresh. Though it was a busy Saturday night, the service was excellent.
