“Yummy, loved it.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

After reading bad reviews on the food in Potosi and having had an awful lunch we were worried about eating dinner. We read the reviews on trip advisor and thought we'd give it a go. Staff were fantastic from the start. They handled my poor Spanish but stepped in with perfect English when needed. Very friendly and attentive. They give you yummy popcorn while you're food is prepared. Me and my fiancé are popcorn fiends so when the waiter saw we'd finished it so quickly he brought us more - in a bigger bowl. We had the Piqué Macho for two and it was excellent. Fantastic meat, great big portion. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. So glad we found it.

“Five Women Restaurant! Wonderful Lunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2013

The restaurant is named after a mini United Nations of girlfriends (two Spanish, one Italian, one Peruvian and one Bolivian) who have joined forces to open Phishqa Warmis (Quechua for Five Women).

Not a hiccup in service being two of our party are vegetarians. "No problem," said our waiter. We were starved for SALAD after being on the road a long, long time! And thankfully the all-you-can-eat Salad Bar is varied and includes soup d'jour. Ample lunch portions put smiles on our trekker faces. Gourmet no but well prepared dishes with international and local twists. We utterly loved this restaurant. Muchas felicidades, Phishqa Warmis! Bravo!

Dearest Sr. Huerta, this is Ana S. Villapadierna, one of those Spanish girls you mentioned about the gathering as a small UN. Thank you for that warm picture on us.

I do heartly appreciate your positive comments about Phisqa Warmis on Tripadvisor's. Reading your lines puts a smile on me as great as that of yours after "landing in" to our place for a bite of food along your trip. Your evaluations makes us think harder on the goals we must point at our business.

Kind regards,
Ana Villapadierna

“Comfortable charming Potosi cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

We visited Phisga Warmis twice for lunch and found it to be a charming and comfortable cafe with attentive gracious service and well prepared pub offerings (burgers, pizza, quesadilla, etc) and fresh foods in both Bolivian and European styles. Patrons appeared to be mostly locals/professionals and a few tourists. On one visit, we enjoyed an ample and delicous buffet that included quinoa and vegetable soup, several vegetable salads, and a main course of braised chicken with Bolivian hominy and chili sauce, and dessert. An a la carte menu is also available. Spanish style tortillas (thick egg omelets) and Empanadas were tasty, tiramisu quite good. Prices were more than fair for the quality and pleasant ambiance. If you are in Potosi its well worth a visit.

“Awesome for Lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

The lunch menu is really affordable (25Bs) and includes salad/ soup buffet a main dish and small dessert. The food is not outstanding but for the price it is really well prepared. The staff is very attentive.
