Best Kept Secret of Viña del Mar, Chile

We vacationed on the coast of Chile in Viña del Mar.
Our hotel was within walking distance to the beach, overlooking the Pacific and close enough to walk to town. We thought it was
the best choice, until we discovered our favorite.

During our stay we walked along the waterfront, caught a ride in a picturesque horse drawn cart and perused various other hotels just for curiosity.

In the process we discovered what you might call a pearl
in a bed of oysters. How on earth wasn't the Hotel San Martin
ranked higher in the acclaim of fine hotels in Viña?

We switched our reservations and found our stay to be
superb, with nice clean rooms, fair prices and with
complete, friendly and competent service.

This 170 room hotel has recently been remodeled with full access to wireless internet access as well as a complete restaurant with elegant cuisine, dancing and a full bar. We were thrilled to have these and other added frills so far from home.

Hotel San Martin is in a spectacular location right on the beach and has all of the amenities we look for in comfort when traveling.
