“Good place for a drink but mainly for youngsters”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

I guess I start to age (37). This is a nice bar to have a drink in the evening, a live band and then some good tunes. It is mainly for 25-30 crowd but again, you cannot really go wrong there for a drink.

“Fun place by the Beach...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

If your a couple , solo or with friends this is the place for you..Wouldn't recommed it for families with kids...
During the day, the place is quite & appears slow moving, but by night it transforms into burstling , loud, party place. DJ's, dancing groups, the place gets energized & rocking into the wee hours..
Beach on one side & Skyscrapers on the other, the views are remarkable. The service gets pretty tacky after 2200 hrs as the place gets really crowded..
Worth a visit if you wanna let your hair down..

“Good if still young at heart!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

We probably got here too late (10.30pm) as everyone was already totally out of it! I think a lot of locals do the whole all inclusive brunch thing on a Friday and then just bat on into the night, so you can imagine everyone is the worst for wear come 10.30pm! Still, it looked fun, two bar areas and big DJ stand right on the beach.

“Ibiza in Dubai - but food ok.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Changed over the years of visiting. Not a standard holiday maker just visiting family. Would b off putting if I wanted a chilled out dinner and drink. Beach area is like a mini Ibiza. Service slow as u have to ask twice for everything
Had fish and chips. It was ok. Plenty on the plate and the burger looked ok.
Prices are never cheap in Dubai but u will know that from the menu

Nice shaded eating area so suitable if u r looking for shade and table located with plenty of space

U need to reserve a table but always quicker than the time they estimate waiting

There are more local restaurants overlooking the beach within the same local area/ complex so have a walk around

Note. - a Friday is a day where those who are in brunches will stop next here so lots of drunken people late at night !

“Nice during day time”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

Barasti is a nice location nice view of the tall buildings. You can enjoy the beach and listen to good club music! However during the night is is not such a nice place better choose other clubs if you want to dance
