This isnt the typical place that comes to mind when you think of a cafe at Dubai. The atmosphere is earthy, its simplicity is appealing, amidst the tree shade. Food was fresh and quite delicious and staff was very courteous, though we did have to hunt them down to take orders and then had to wait for the food, maybe they were understaffed that day. The signature lemon and mint drink is a refreshing experience by itself, though some may get intimidated with the sheer size of the glass.
It would be nice to have the menu changed occasionally.
One thing we noticed, this place seems to be more popular with westeners, as we didnt see any locals of bur dubai or other ethnicities.
I will definitely recommend a visit, if you are anywhere near Dubai Fort or Bastakia.
