Description: Lemongrass Thai Restaurant offers a blend of Thai taste senses - spicy, tangy, sweet and sour, accentuated with traditional spices, treated in a contemporary ambiance. Offering traditional Thai cuisine in a modern aesthetical environment was the reasoning behind the conceptualization and successful launch of Lemongrass Thai Restaurant in Dubai. Fresh earthy tones and energizing hues have been combined with natural materials to create a warm and welcoming feel, thereby replacing rustic interiors and gold commonly associated with Thailand. Lemongrass the only Thai restaurant in Dubai that does not artificially enhance any of their dishes by adding Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)

Service at the restaurant was notably great and staff is very helpful and friendly. there was plenty of choices. Many appetizers and main dishes to choose from and noodles were exquisite.
Would definitely go back

“probably the most authentic Thai restaurant in Dubai”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

While Dubai has a number of high end, glamorous (and outrageously priced) Thai restaurants, Lemongrass shines with the authenticity of its recipes, freshness of the ingredients used, and efficient, if not overly friendly service. Ok, so the location (across from Lamcy Plaza in the bustling Oud Metha area) is not idyllic, and parking is a nightmare on weekends. On the other hand, the discrete and understated decor is very tasteful and the menu choices are varied, well prepared and consistent in their quality.
All in all, a very pleasant oasis of authentic Thai serenity and excellent value for money!

“Authentic Thai food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

I visited this restaurant twice in the past 2 weeks. I usually don't come back to a restaurant in Dubai unless the food was really impressive and this place never failed to impress.
The interior is very cosy and the service is very fast and consistent. The waiters don't give the impression of being very friendly but that's because the restaurant is always busy and they are always running around.
The food is the closest to what you get in a typical restaurant in thailand. We tried the appetizer set, the crab curries, the whole fish, the pad thai and the fried rice and they were all impressive.
I will always be back to this place when i crave for thai food.

“average Thai place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

interior is very nice looking.

location is very local. it's in a neighborhood with medium height buildings. very residence type bit very lively area.

parking is ample

menu is nice & varied

portions are good & big

here are the negatives:

I was served by two waiters who were very unhelpful & unwilling to explain menu items.
I wanted to know if tofu was included in a dish to which they kept saying ok. okay what?

the other waiter was the same.

food:

to sum it up in one sentence:
they didn't mess up.

nothing outstanding, nothing special. genetic Thai food.

I love Thai cuisine & have had it all over the place.

please give this techie a thumbs up if you benefited. thx

“A place to remember”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Me and my friend visited Lemon grass, Karama last year several times. Personally, it was because of their crab curry and jasmine rice. The taste is so remarkable that you would never forget it when you think about crabs. The curry sauce was so rich in taste that it excites your taste buds. The smell of lemon grass on the sauce reminds me of my mother's garden way back home.
Cost is reasonable and gives value to your money. Set up has dramatic lighting but to be honest quite small tables. Over all, had a fantastic experience.
