“Fantastic Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I have been staying here for the last 4 months (August, September, October and November 2014) and I must say the service has been professional and the staff members go the extra mile to ensure I am comfortable. All the staff members have good communication skills which has helped, especially when I do not speak or understand Arabic.

The staff members [Nicholas, Izar, Jakir, Caroline, Ghel, Jerome, Micheal] in the restaurant (Zaytoun - 5th Floor) have been very friendly and ensured that I am happy all the way with the meals served. Having stayed here for quite a long while, they have gone the extra mile to serve me meals off the menu which rarely happens in most restaurants that I have visited.

This is a home away from home for me. I will recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Dubai. Fantastic service all the way.

This is a lovely hotel not as glitzy as it's neighbouring sister the Intercontinental next door but still very nice. We've stayed here a few times so been noticing that the management have to maintain the rooms and bathrooms as they are getting worn out. It has fantastic views if you book a room with a view but you have to pay extra. The sleep quality is fantastic. The spa is amazing and the Belgium beer cafe and fine dining restaurant Reflets all make this hotel a great experience.

You must visit skyline bar. Franky's cocktails have transformed the experience and the hotel has a view to die for over Dubai skyline. Make sure you try his sangria -wow! Franky's is a genius and a true mixologist. Cannot speak highly enough of his expertise.

This was our first visit to Dubai and decided to save some money by not staying on or near the beach. What a great decision it was. The 2 best things about this hotel is its views and staff. From the minute we arrived the staff were incredible, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. Reception, restaurant, pool side, concierge and definitely not forgetting the door staff all of which are the best I have experienced in my many travels around the world.
The room had everything we need and more. Temperature perfect cleanliness , tidiness and replenishment of things used were perfect. We were given advise and recommendation on areas and things to do in Dubai. We had pre booked some things and the hotel were excellent in re confirming or sorting out any problems you needed . The real catch about this hotel though is the pool area. It was so quiet and peaceful but not that busy, presumingly because it being more business orientated. Never a problem getting a bed, staff were there to help you choose and then prepare your bed. Cold towels and frozen fruit served through the day and then in the evening you could just sit in the hot tubs watching the sun set over the Burj and the city. It was so peaceful and cant imagine many hotels have that view. Festival city Mall has an array of shops and cafes with a couple of restaurants so easy to walk to. The Hard Rock Cafe is a stones throw and served great food. Our only disappointment is that at the moment the water area and restaurants are being renovated at the mall so this area is closed so no evening walks around the lake!!! However, taxis are ready outside the hotel and you can easily get to all the major attractions cheaply and quickly. Would we prefer to stay closer to everything, no way. This hotel offers the perfect comprise of away from the madness along with close to it all. I would definitely return.

Room Tip: creek view

the hotel was fine, the staff were attentive to our need, it was clean, the rooms were adequate but the location could be better as there is lots of refurbishment work close by and it did get a little busy

Room Tip: higher floors have better views of the creek

I was lucky to stay there for 2 nights with my kids, excellent hotel, friendly staff, rapid response from room service, at the eighth floor i enjoyed the sea view, breakfast by the pool on the fifth floor, jackuzi pool was warm and perfect.
At night we walked along the sea side.
Walking for 2 minutes through a special hall to the famous dubai festival city mall.
