“Will be staying at Qamardeen Hotel again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Having stayed at Qamardeen Hotel for three nights I found this hotel to be wonderful during my stay in Dubai.

The staff service was sublime, the hotels’ room was beyond reproach in layout and presentation, the bed was extremely comfortable, Wi-Fi was available in the room and the location of the hotel was ‘spot on’; what more could a traveller ask for.

During my stay I didn’t have time to use the pool, even though it looked very inviting. Nor did I have a chance to use the gym; which seemed to have ever conceivable training equipment that a ‘gym junkie’ would desire.

As regards the hotels’ location; on exiting the hotel grounds via the rear gate passing the inviting pool area and crossing Emaar Boulevard you will see Burj Khalifa - the tallest building (when it was built) on the planet – in all its glory. And whilst walking towards this awesome structure you will pass Burj Khalifa Lake with the fabulous Dubai Fountain on your way to The Dubai Mall.

One thing that I noted was all the staff that I had dealings with, during my stay were very proud of their hotel and along with their helpfulness made for a joyful time for me, during my stay at ‘their’ hotel.

So as a recommendation, during my next time in Dubai I will be certainly staying at Qamardeen Hotel again.

We recently spent 3 nights in this hotel as a stopover on our way to Italy and found it very comfortable, well appointed and positioned in the centre of the city so close to everything. Although the weather was hot we could comfortably walk to the Dubai Mall, although it seems it is only the toursits who are out walking as the locals drive everywhere. We got cheap taxi rides to other places and caught the train back from the Mall of the Emirates and then walked back to the hotel. It was close to the Dubai Mall fountains which are nice to visit at night when a little cooler. Breakfast was great and rooms were spacious and comfortable. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again.

Although there are lots of choices in Dubai we chose Qamardeen based on traveller reviews and because we wanted the best we could find in the price range as we knew we would be knackered after the flight from Auckland and wanted a nice hotel to recover and prepare for our Europe trip. We werent dissappointed. We werent as lucky as some others had been to be checked in ultra-early (flight lands at 5.30am), we took the opportunity to have swim and snooze by the pool and checked into room about 11am, which is still pretty good.
Room was standard room (not overlooking pool) but very comfortable, nice bed, nice bath, and extra little touches like chocolates on the bed daily when turned down, and bottles of mineral water.
The staff were attentive, polite and friendly, particularly the pool staff. The pool was of good standard, clean and generally nice place to relax and have an ale...
It is a 15min or so walk to Dubai Mall and the Burj Khailfa, (or 10 dirham taxi ride if it is too hot), where there are plenty of eating options. There is also a free shuttle service to Mall of Emirates and the beach.
We stayed at a cheaper hotel in Bur Dubai on way home for 2 nights, but if this is your first Dubai visit and it is the warmer months (Aug in our case) this is a well located and comfortable hotel.
Warning: At the airport taxi rank, the guy there might direct you to a limousine type car rather then the standard taxi, ignore him and get in a conventional taxi, the flagfall should be 25-30 dirham and a taxi to Qamardeen about 50ish. We got stung 80, but the concierge at the hotel (who was pretty concerned we had been ripped off) said some people get charged as much as 150. (He may have been trying to make me feel better!!)

We stayed in a twin room at the Qamardeen Hotel for five nights at the beginning of September. What a gem!! Location is central to most of the must see and go places like Dubai Mall, Burj Al Khalifa and the fountains etc as stated by others. The rooms at the hotel are of an extremely high standard with plenty of storage space. The glass bathroom is a great feature and the beds are very, very comfortable. We ate at the hotel several times and found the food to be both delicious and good value.
What impressed us most were the staff and the service. At the Qamardeen we felt that the staff knew who we were and that we were more than just a number. The concierge was very helpful, gave good advice and choices and when we made a decision organised the tours for us within minutes. No matter what, everyone from reception to room service personnel greeted us with smiles and went out of their way to assist in any way they could. We did not have a car but must make special mention of the valet parking staff who are stationed at the front door of the hotel. They hailed cabs for us, assisted us in and out of vehicles and generally made our day with their cheerful outlook.
Loved this hotel. I hope to go back and would definately recommend this hotel to anyone going to Dubai.

The hotel is located only 5 minutes walking distance from the Mall and Burj Khalifa and for other attractions taxi in Dubai are very cheap. We booked a standard room that was OK. Very friendly staff. Nice swimming pool. Ideal hotel for a 2 days sotpoover in Dubai

Loved this hotel so much we extended our stay from 3 nights to 5. The staff were really great and helpful, the buffet breakfast and dinner are amazing, and the pool very nice and well-kept. The rooms were fairly big and nice as well.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the middle of the City and across from the Dubai Mall--just a 5-10 minute walk, Burj Khalifa (the tall tower of Mission Impossible fame) and very close to the Dubai fountains that are choreographed with music for shows every 30 minutes. Dubai Mall is huge--third largest in the world they say now--with lots of options for shopping and eating, plus a really cool huge waterfall inside as well as an amazing aquarium. If you're looking for a cocktail, check the great bar at The Address looking out on the fountains, the Karma Cafe (from creators of Buddha Bar), or if you're really brave--talk your way to Atmosphere on the 123rd floor of Burj Khalifa. Word of warning though: dress code for men is closed toed shoes (no exceptions) and often long-sleeved shirts.

we stayed in this hotel for the first week of September. the hotel is fantastic. it is a lovely 10-15 minute stroll from the burj khalifa and the dubai mall. And as a bonus the walk is around the stunning lake where the fountain show is on in the evening.

the hotel provides a free shuttle bus to the dubai mall and the mall of the emirates (both amazing!). we used the metro from the dubai mall and from there we travelled around the city very easily. the metro took us to the marina, the creek and out to emirates towers. the metro is very reasonably priced and is the cleanest metro i have seen in my travels!

the hotel is a great base to explore the vast city. we got the shuttle bus from etihad from Abu Dhabi to Chelsea Towers and the hotel was a quick taxi ride to the hotel. the concierge in the hotel was very helpful and provided us with maps and info on the best places to see the city. he was extremely helpful and friendly.

i would definitely recommend this hotel as a base to explore Dubai as it is in such a fantastic location. the rooms are spacious and very clean with lovley amenities. loved having the robes in our room too!
