“Great Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

This is a great short tour, with very helpful guides. The tour itself is about 2 hours long and it is well worth the visit. The Q&A session is extremely interesting, where our guide was very educational.

Definitely go here if your visiting Dubai.

“Very informative talk, Q & A”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014

Not an enormous mosque, but we greatly enjoyed the lecture, then Q & A from an Arab- American Islamic woman. She was an excellent speaker, and answered questions from the audience in a matter-of-fact, nonjudgmental fashion.

“Excellent transcultural experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

Before arriving to Dubai, we were told that there wouldn't be a chance to visit the mosque. The more we were surprised by finding out that there is actually one organisation (Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Cultural Understanding), which is organising tour to the mosque. The person who led the tour was brilliant, delivering lecture about Islam, similarities with other religions, Muslims and their life, and answered (sometimes challenging) questions. Entire session happened in peaceful atmosphere, without any signs of confrontation or dogmatism, and could last much longer. I believe that some participants (including me) have corrected their view to Islam & Muslims. We were encouraged to take a pictures (another very unusual experience). Visit like this could significantly contribute (and contributed) to cultural understanding between different religions. If you wouldn't be dressed properly, you can borrow the dress at the entrance to the mosque, ladies don't forget to bring headscarf.

“Do Not Miss the Nearby Majles”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

The mosque is nice and the tour is informative and enjoyable. After the tour, do not miss visiting the nearby Majles cafe that serves camel milk; it is tasty and light.

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

Very good experience. Its worth a visit for the half hour session provided by the guide on Muslim and the cultural background. It also solves the curiosity of whats inside a mosque and gives you a entire new perspective to Islamic religion. I would also suggest to pickup a copy of the Islam & Muslim kept on the entrance of the mosque. Bus route number 8 stops right in front of the mosque and goes all the way to ghubaiba bus station.
