“Quick processing and convenient shopping”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013

Need more free lounges of visa, Mastercard etc.Good shopping offers coupled with nice food. I got good offer on SLR cameras. Need to explore metro connectivity in my next trip.

On flip side, I had to wait for long on check in counter. I further came to know air india do not provide fragile stickers anymore. .....

First of all, the hotel has two locations - in the older terminal C, and in the brandnew terminal A where the A380 to Amsterdam is mooring. The Terminal A location is newer and very crisp, but the swimmingpool is in the Terminal C location. So if you care for a swim, go to C.

Another thing - if you need to collect luggage from the hold, you will first have to clear customs and then return. This will only work if you already have your boardingpass for the next flight! F not, you ae basically hosed and should book an hotel outside the terminal. Since I always travel with only hand luggage, this was no issue.

If you send them an email with our flight details beforehand, the will come and collect you at the arriving gate! This worked very well for us. The hotel is on level 6 of terminal A, you need to take an elevator. It is straight above the humonous business class lounge which gives direct access to the business class walkways of Gate 1-12, a truly outstanding feature.

Our stay during a 10 hour layover was uneventful with very good sleep quality in a well designed room with excellent bed and sound insulation.

Lots of fussing about a both check out and check in whether our travel agent had prepaid the bill, for a normal booking guaranteed against a credit card which is always settled a checkout time. Probably some confusion with leisure travellers on package deals. This can be improved upon. Also I was a little muffled that housekeeping was called during check out to verify my consumptions from the minibar (I had moved a bottle of wine around wich had been noted by the electronic system) but ok I can live with that.

Overall recommended for good sleep during a layover.

We had a 7 hour layover in Dubai on our way to Europe. We did not pre-book in advance but saw attendants from the hotel waiting for passengers coming off the plane (not needed, as they just walk with you). We went to the hotel and asked for room for the night and they were able to provide a standard room (we only used for 7 hours but rates are for 24 hours based off when you check-in). Room was basic enough - clean and comfortable. The bathroom was big and clean with a nice shower after a long flight.

Location is amazing and not having to cross immigration is worth the price. We had a 7.30am flight and left the hotel at 6.30am and were down at the gate by 6.40. Definitely would stay here again in the future.

On our way back through Dubai, we did not stay at the hotel but used the shower and spa facilities, which were great for an airport location - would recommend.

We had a long lay over here on our way to Australia so decided to book a room here overnight. The service was amazing. We were met at the arrival gate by a very pleasant young man and taken directly to reception, thank goodness,it was very late,we were tired and I doubt we would have found it on our own. Our room was large, bright ,clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed a refreshing sleep which made such a difference to our long journey. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. This overnight stop at this brilliant transit hotel was worth every penny.

This hotel is just what you expect of an airport hotel.
Great meet and greet service - just as well as we'd never have found it on our own.
The hotel has at least 2 entrances.
It was very expensive given we were there for only 6 hours...but it was good to have a shower and quick nap.

We stayed in an Executive Room as we had a 10 hour transit in Dubai (complimentary room, thanks Emirates). Our room was literally above the Business Class Lounge and our departure gate. It was great to get a solid 6 hours sleep in between long haul flights, as well as a nice hot shower without having to queue in the Business Class Lounge showers! A380's were arriving and leaving just outside the window but you can't hear anything except the hotel aircon doing its thing. The breakfast spread in the Club Lounge (again complimentary) was simple, but nice.

Going into Dubai isn't always the ideal way to spend a 10 hr lay over. But this hotel definitely is. We have stayed a number of times and it has never failed to deliver luxury and outstanding service. Arrange to be met off the flight and be whisked through the airport, escorted through the security checks, then up to the tranquility of the hotel reception hovering over the bustling terminal. The enormous beds are extremely comfortable ensuring me (a traveller who finds it impossible to sleep on a plane) maximum sleep. The bathrooms have fabulous showers with all the luxury toiletries to revitalise. To complete it all, stretch the legs with a walk through the two terminals - of course, take a diversion for retail therapy - and a nice meal at one of the restaurants. Well worth the price to be able to stay the maximum time in Australia.
