“A Great Value Option in Dubai”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

We stayed at the Arabian Park for three nights in April and found the property to be excellent value for money. Staff were efficient and friendly. Some reviewers mention the inconvenient location of this hotel, however for us it was not a problem. Dubai is a fairly compact city and the hotel provides a regular shuttle bus service to the beach and city shopping malls as well as to the metro station so getting around was not at all difficult. Be aware that although there is a metro station near the hotel, there is no service yet. In our experience transport was not a problem - if we missed the shuttle bus it was easy to take a taxi as they seemed to drop off regularly at the hotel and were a fraction of the cost of the "hotel" taxis. Our room was quite plainly furnished but was clean and had a comfortable bed as well as all the basic amenities. At the time of our visit the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation of its public areas so that breakfast was served at the pool area. Breakfast itself was quite good but we did think that many dishes could have been hotter. On the whole, a good value option for a short stay in Dubai however if you are staying longer it would be wise to consider staying at one of the beach hotels.

Full disclosure ; This was the hotel choice offered to us by Emirates Air during a 9 hour layover. The hotel was basic but relatively new, clean and the rooms where large. Also bring some earplugs as the call to prayer starts very early and woke us up ( I still enjoy hearing it as it adds to the travel experience where ever I go ) . It's really hard to find fault when the room is free so we were really appreciative of Emirates Airlines for providing the room. I have to mention that the service from all staff members we encountered was astoundingly good.

Cons - location is a bit remote from anything other than the airport
- Beds where very "springy" although we were tired, so slept well anyway

Pros - excellent service by all staff members
- good breakfast for a budget hotel
- hard to complain when Emirates is offering free accommodation , transport and food .
- fast Wifi
- free shuttle buses to DXB, beach and various shopping malls

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room if the morning call to prayer wakes you up.

I have so many great things to say about the hotel, staff and management that I really don't know where to begin. This small 3star hotel has rolled out the red carpet and given me 5star treatment. My short term visit turned into a couple of months because of how comfortable I have grown with the staff. Don't let this little charmer fool you. It is very centrally located between new and old Dubai and just a short skip away from the airport. Within a few hundred meters you can find the metro rail and bus. If neither of those suits your preference at any time of the day or night you can easily get a private luxury taxi or a regular cab. Likewise, the hotel offers a free shuttle that takes you to all the major malls, beaches, and attractions. If you are not into the the attractions and splendor of Dubai you will find this to be the perfect place to lunge and relax. The food is spectacular, the bar is wet, and the pool is saltwater. Don't let me forget to mention that the Internet is free. I strongly recommend the hotel for anyone looking for an affordable alternative with 5 star treatment

Stopped here for two nights with my wife, on return from the Far East.
First, the bad. There isn't anything bad to say.
Next, the so-so. The hotel is remote and so transportation is required to get anywhere or see anything; rooms were small; the hotel prices were reasonable and service around the pool was very slow.
Finally, the good. All staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly; the food was of a very good standard (good choice at breakfast, and the evening menu was varied and delicious); the rooms were clean and comfortable; the pool area was a nice place to unwind in the evening.
Overall, whilst not the best place to stay for a holiday in Dubai, I'd certainly recommend it for a short stay.

Just about to leave after a 3 day stay en route to Perth. Hotel is clean, comfortable and efficient. Good value as breakfast was included. Only problem has been they are at the end of a renovation programme. This has disrupted things as the cafe and shop facilities have not been fully available.
They have made a good effort to carry on and it will be excellent when finished for future guests. Due to finish any day now.
The hotel shuttle bus is very handy as the hotel is in between the city and the beach although taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.
I would stay here again for a short stop but not for a stay of any length as it is too far from things.

Hotel was picked by my company travel agent for an overnight stay. The hotel is fairly small and simple. Nice outdoor pool, but that's pretty much it. Breakfast is very limited at best, i wasn't able to find anything that i could eat. Could not get through to room service for in room lunch, had to go through front desk to order.
On the positive side, the front desk/reception personnel is just great, very helpful, very attentive and professional. Check in and check out was fast. Rooms are decent size and have basic amenities.
Overall, not a good choise for a long stay, but OK for a short stopover.

I thought I got a good deal, less than 200 AED a night, but you get what you pay for. The room was so gloomy with middle ages lighting, and the outside of the hotel was terrible, in a terrible crowded area. I could not wait to leave the following day to go to another hotel. But the funny thing is my friend did not mind the room. He thought it was ok. If you are on a budget, I guess this hotel would do. If you have a family, keep away.
