“Everything we needed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Our first time in Dubai and we were very surprised to find somewhere so affordable. We found Arabian Park to be very good value for money, very clean with friendly staff and the food (included in aour half board stay) was gorgeous - great quality and great selections which varied night to night.
The shuttle bus was excellent, took us everywhere we wanted to go (all the must sees) and we were able to use it as a connection for places that it didn't go to (saving money by getting a taxi from nearer by). The bus also does airport runs throughout the day and night.
There are lounges on every floor, great if you have a late flight and a gorgeous pool which although small for the size of the hotel, was always quiet.
Be prepared if you are visiting Dubai during Ramadan as it is very diffcult to get food and more importantly water between 7am and 7pm - during these hours you are also not permitted to eat or drink in the communal areas of the hotel or by the poolside. As long as you are respectful and keep well stocked you should be fine. Travelling in Ramadan does have the advantage of having a less hectic holiday as it is much quieter.
I would definitely recommend Arabian Park to anyone visiting Dubai who wants to see the sight, experience the culture and have a comfortable stay.

Room Tip: Ask to be looking over the pool for a nice view and backdrop of the city

When I landed in Dubai from China, there was a 20 hour wait before I could connect from there to Durban. Courtesy of air Emirates I was offered accomodation, free meals and free shuttle from Airport to hotel and back. Hotel was good and most appealing was a free shuttle service to visit certain malls and city centre. Travellers must be aware of this service when travelling via Emirattes. Hotel was great with excellent meals. Staff go out of their way to make ur stay memorable.

We discovered the Arabian Park Hotel by accident. We were looking at staying at some other well known hotels, but they were full for the dates and times we needed.

We arrived in Dubai after midnight, the staff quickly checked us in. We did expect a king size bed in our room but was presented with a regular double bed. As we were a family of three (with a small child) a king size bed would have suited us for our short stay. The staff quickly recognised our problem and supplied a makeshift bed for our four and a half year old son, there was no fuss, just prompt action. Being such a early morning check-in we appreciated the staff in the way they looked after us. Check-out was also a simple process. The room was clean and very comfortable, the mattress on the bed was on the soft side.

The air conditioning kept us cool, despite being 32°C outside. We did receive two complimentary bottles of drinking water.

Meter taxis were waiting at the hotel, so there was no trouble getting to the tourist attractions of Dubai.

There is a free internet area on the second floor of the hotel. Our floor had area where people could read or talk. We did not notice much noise from outside or within the hotel from our room.

We did not try the restaurant or cafes within the hotel, as we were out most of the day and ate near the attractions we were visiting.

We recommend Arabian Park Hotel for anyone travelling through Dubai.

This was our first time in Dubai and was a three night stop over before continuing our journey to Thailand. We found the hotel to be very good value for money, very clean, our room was excellent, the breakfast was very good with plenty to chose from. The staff we found to be helpful and friendly, and there is a shuttle bus which has various routes and times ask for a timetable at reception. The hotel is a little far out so we used the shuttle bus to wherever and then used the train to get about which is the best and cleanest train we have ever been on,as we were only there for three nights we saw as much as we could in the time we had.If you love shopping the malls are a must and if you dont like shopping the malls are a must they are amazing. The hotel shuttle bus also does the airport run free of charge which we found very useful. overall a very good hotel.

I arrived early morning all excited about my holiday but the reception staff soon put a damper on that. Stern-faced, wouldn't smile. Even trying to cheer them up failed. Breakfast staff unreceptive. Even though there was a man serving coffee/tea I couldn't get his attention and got up to serve myself but there was little coffee/tea and no milk. Couldn't find the grumpy looking man. Only the housekeeping staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable, clean, modern. Hotel very modern overall. My room overlooked a cemetery but that didn't bother me. Library (????) reading room had little to read, few newspapers, couple of magazines. Pool looked nice. The hotel is a bit out from city but I chose it to be closer to the airport for 5am departure pick-up not knowing if traffic would be heavy. Taxis are cheap and plentiful from hotel grounds. Take the taxis at the back of the queue as they are cheaper than the 4WD and those parked closest to reception. Forget their colour, sorry. Only about 25D ($A5) to Dubai Mall which is worth a visit, but keep aside a few hours to look around as it's HUGE! Enjoy, Dubai is a fascinating city.

Room Tip: My room, 534 overlooked the cemetery so if this could upset you, ask for another room.

I stumbled onto this Hotel through DFS on the way to a deployment, and really liked it. Room was massive compared to the BIG NAME hotels closer to the airport. Van service was great, considering I wasn't aware you had to proceed to the curb (the driver waited!). I opted for the shuttle into the WAFI mall - Pyramids had some really top notch restaurants followed by a draft in the Hotel lounge. Breakfast was buffet fit for an Emir. Great value, With the construction locally, it will soon not be as far out as it seems. I shall return.

Room Tip: high and facing the Gulf - avoid the Hostel Floor.

My first time in Dubai and I had wanted to stay in Bur Dubai area and for some reason, this place popped up. First of all, this is not in Bur Dubai, its about 8 kms from there but the accomodations are much better than what you will get in Bur Dubai for similar price. Rooms are nice, very comfortable beds but the shower barely had hot water during the night. We were tired and didnt feel like complaining since it was 1 am but I dont understand how you can have hot water during the day and not at night.

Staff is polite, very courteous and helpful. I made a mistake thinking I had already paid for the hotel room while they claimed they only block the amount and dont charge. I checked my credit card statements and they were right and were very courteous about it. They helped us order food from outside and even re-heated some food for us and provided with the cutlery to eat it with.

Didnt use any of the hotel services except Wifi which I dont understand why is free in the lobby but 60 AED in the room.
