Spend 3 nights here, and had one on the two-room rooms. The room was nice and complementary water/coffe was in the room. The hotel and the room itself had an arabian feel to it - this suited the view to dubai museum nicely.

The room service was very slow, but the breakfast was good, and the babysitter we booked through the hotel was good.

Our room was at the 3rd floor, but still the in-hotel-bar could be heard very clearly (our room was 307, so don't go there, if you need a quiet room....)

If you are looking for the beach then this is not the hotel for you unless your prepared to get in a taxi. If your looking for comfort, clean rooms and great service this is the hotel for you. Situated in the old part of Dubai the surroundings of the hotel are not that appealing at first glance. However, once you start to explore you will find the surroundings interesting with the Dubai creek and museum in walking distance. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Depending on where your room is you can here the mosque very early in the morning, although this did not other us. The small coffee shop on the ground floor is excellent. The overall service in the hotel was great In particular the bell boy and ground floor coffee shop staff. Whilst we were there on a 2 night sop over we visited the Dubai mall which is worth a trip and only costs about £7 in a taxi.

Room Tip: A suite is a good option providing living area as well as bedroom.

Hotel is located in the old Dubai, close to shopping streets. Hotel staff are friendly, except receptionist Lydmila who did not have friendly look nor understanding for a problem we had. Our hotel room did not have hot water for shower, and hotel staff could not fix it. They kept sending their technician, but he was not able to do anything.
We also left our postcards and paid for the stamps at the concierge, but we are disappointed to note that nobody received our postcards from Dubai. I guess they were not sent....
Breakfast was OK, but after 6 days we had enough of it, it was all the same every day.
Hotel is too much air conditioned, with the exception of a fitness room which is also outdated. Generally, it was a good stay, with small disappointments. I would recommend the hotel for short stay up to 3 days.

EVERYTHING about this hotel, jumped out " Arabian Culture" , from the Decor, the Doors, the rooms, Everything, (just like off of one the movies). The Staff was excellent.. The Front Desk guy "the one who worked at Disney"..lol was dripping with customer service... Everyone should take lessons from him, but honestly.. Everyone was fantastic. The view was beautiful, breakfast was great. Great Price .. For sure would go back. I did have issues with the communication between the booking agent and the hotel...BUT they made up for it by giving me a great room, free breakfast and Great Customer Service. They were so nice, I kinda forgot about the 1 hour wait to get in to my room...

Room Tip: Book close to where you wanna be at.. request a high rise room.

I stayed here for 3 nights and was very happy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The location in Old Dubai, opposite the Dubai Museum is good. Only a short walk to the Metro and Abra stations. Rooms are very clean, good airconditioning.
The Spa is good and offers some relaxation after a long warm day out.
Concierge very helpful. Two hours complimentary wi-fi.

Room Tip: I had a good room, but no view.

Firstly, I had made a booking online and called into the hotel to confirm it. When I checked in they gave me different conditions to those that were given to me over the phone as well as a condecsending arrogance. I needed to make a call to sort out the check in sitiuation. They said I should rather make the call from the room. When I was checking out I noticed there were call charges I didn't make. I was charged for calls attemps that didn't contect as well as this that were engaged. When I took this up with the staff, the arrongant attitude was served to me again and the guy was also sarcastic. I was really upset by the appauling serving from this apparent 4star hotel; which is more of a 3star establishment. It's my right to know where my hard earned money is going and I what I was paying for and the arraogance from someone who's not exposed to much is really annoying. I would never stay in this hotel even if I was being paid a million dollars to do it- based on the service alone. When I checked out the guy doing my checkout (the same guy that checked me in) was this time rude, didn't even throw in a "thanks for choosing Arabian Courtyard" as I left but noticed that they did to the guy checking out the same time as me, even asking him how his stay was.
The only good thing about the hotel was Annie from the spa. This was the best massage I've ever had... Unfortunately not enough reason to reccomend anyone stay at this hell hole.
