I was on business trip last month in Dubai and due to unavailability of a decent hotel booking; I was forced to stay at Rush Inn Hotel.
The Hotel is located in very good area but it is well known for prostitution as it accommodate 2 night clubs and all night long I was unable to sleep due to the drum beat.

So, I never recommend this hotel to a decent person.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. The room was very old and dirty
with 'unusual' stains on the wall, pillows and bed. Furniture fittings
were either broken or old, eg doors on cupboards did not close properly. Bathroom was ok, shower curtain was moldy and floor did not appear to have been cleaned. There is a nightclub next to the reception on the ground floor, noise seems to travel all the way up to our room on the 6th floor and lasted until 3.30am. We checked out the very next day to find alternative accommodation.

This is definitely a budget hotel and suitable if you only need a bed to sleep in. Also a tip, taxis in Bur Dubai (the location of this hotel) are almost impossible to get during peak hours - we waited almost an hour.

My wife and I were in Dubai from 17-24 April. The Rush Inn Hotel in Bur Dubai, which is located very central, was beyond our expectation. The only problem we had in the beginning was as we wanted to go to bed earlier than 3 a.m. The 4 in-house discotheks won't let you get asleep. Even if we lived in the 4th floor, one could hear the noise. But after two days we were accostomed to it, we were out every night until 2 - 3 a.m. anyways, so this didn't bother us anymore.
The service crew is very friendly. The location can not be better. You can reach the small shops and the bazzar on both sides (Bur Dubai as well as Deira Dubai).
We loved our stay in Dubai !! The Rush Inn Hotel is recommendable for young couples or bachelors.

we have just returned from staying at rush inn dubai
we found the staff who were very helpfull and they made our stay very comfortable.
noise from night clubs was a bit too much.
rooms were comfortable for being a 2 star hotel.
one thing which we found was not satisfactory was the shower. shower was too small and curtains were too short so water ran all the way in the bathroom. this made the floor sleepery and any one not carefull could slip and hurt themselves.
