“2 stars for a 3 stars hotel.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Receptionist spoke English badly. There was no toothpaste & brush in toilet, wifi was terrible. Nothing to eat for breakfast, the food is cold. but the waiters were so friendly. When I was inside the elevator, one staff was coming but he showed no greeting, no smile to me.

Room Tip: 5th floor with the street view.

Had an unexpected stopover in Dubai for one 1 night and wanted a cheapish hotel in a quite central location.

Hotel looks a bit naff from outside, but the room was really big, concierge was helpful, everything was good, early morning wake up call on time.
The area is a bit run-down, but was handy for the creek, down by the river, good for a nice walk.

Dubai is pretty expensive, but this hotel is next to the metro so it makes it great for accessing all the malls.

If i had more money, i might not go back, but seeing i don't, i'd most likely stay again.

why?
1.SONITA, receptionist, very poor costumer service.
2. molds in bathroom
3.old indians interior
4.no free wifi, pay 50 dirhams if u want
5.toothbrush is not free
6. i requested for extra glass, u hav to pay for it
7. dim lightings.

I HAVE NO REASONS TO COMEBACK HERE OR EVEN SUGGEST THIS POOR PLACE TO OTHER PEOPLE AND FRIENDS.

NEXT TIME, I KNOW WHERE TO BOOK ROOMS, I WILL CHOOSE HOTELS THAT ARE NOT OWNED BY INDIANS.

My wife and I checked in the hotel on January 26th and 10pm. At 10.30 went to take a shower and the shower curtain had mold. Housekeeping came and changed it. At 11 Pm went to close the drapes and it had dark black mold over the whole drape.

Called the manager to look at the drape who was shocked to see it. He was kind enough to move us to another room. We inspected 5 other rooms they all had the same problem.

My wife stated to get ill and so we left the hotel and moved to another hotel.

We were charged for the stay even though we did not stay.

If you love mold and do not mind paying for it this is the hotel.

Sunita the front desk agent and the Night Manager Sayed Mohammed were the best staff the hotel has and they did everything they could.

The Imperial has a great location and is a perfectly serviceable 3-star hotel. We had 12 university students in suites and the front desk was patient and really helpful. Suites are large for working people, internet worked, and you have all the basics in the kitchen - nothing fancy but did the job. Very close to Burjman Mall and metro stop which is really valuable. Restaurant is OK.

I stayed here in Jan for a day. It was my second visit to this hotel after a period of 3years. There has been no up gradation in last 3years. Rooms are average. I stayed in suite so drawing room sofa was not comfortable. The floor carpet also gave an aged look. Bathroom is decent with bathtub but the tub is very small in size. Food is ok nothing special. Lot of package tour operator book this hotel so it is always crowded. Wifi is also chargeable overall as I stayed for a day i somehow managed
