“Disappointing to say the least!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

Suites dont have enough lighting. Poorly lit. Staff are not very friendly. We asked for extra glasses and were told they would be on chargable basis. Finally got one extra glass at no charge. We had one look at buffet breakfast and decided to eat out.
Food on menu is expensive too. Rather go to KFC or Mcdonalds for a bite.
Beds were comfortable though. Had a good nights sleep. But thats about it..

We had stayed in Imperial Suites during my vacation in Dubai in Nov'13. I was assigned room no. 303. We used to get awakened middle of the night due to high volume sound being played in their disc in ground floor. We had complained couple of times but in vain. The vibrations generated by the sound was indeed scary

Room Tip: I understand rooms in the 4th and 5th floors are good...but not sure

I have booked my Dubai Holiday Tour with Agency ( Thomas Cook ) and my travelling date was from 14th oct 2013 to 18th oct 2013 ( Hyd-Dubai-Hyd ). In the above tour i stayed in hotel Imperial Suites.

I hereby would like to make a strong complain regarding the misbehaving, using foul language and racial discrimination against me by one of the senior staff of Hotel Imperial Suites at Dubai on 18th oct 2013 while i was checking out the hotel. The name of the staff is Mr. Raviraj who works on some senior position in hotel imperial suites Dubai.

The whole incident occurred while i was checking out from the hotel and i was making the final payment of the hotel bills that were due. During my stay at hotel wot ever i used to order from the room service i would most of the time made all payments at cash on the spot but there are some few bills left of tea etc which i just signed to finalized them at the time of checking out. So while finalizing all my unpaid bills at the time of checking out i asked front desk people to get all my bills which i signed so i could clear them but they deliberately insisted on paying me some of the unsigned bills in the account of my room which i never ordered & signed. I kept on requesting them to get me the signed bill copies if there are any but they failed to produce the signed bills. They were adamant to make payment for unsigned bills which i never agreed. Hence this gentleman Mr. Ravi Raj entered the scene and he too argued with me and started using abusive language and shouting on me and my mother. Being Indian himself he made some un digestive remarks on Indians and did racial discrimination act in front of whole hotel. I told him to keep quiet but he kept on saying all non sense things and even threatened us not to again come to this hotel in future.

I hereby would like to strongly make a complain on this person and request you to kindly take appropriate and strict action against this person coz he may be doing this with others too.

I feel bad but next time i wont be staying in Hotel Imperial Suites Dubai. Thats truly a bad and nightmare experience for me and my family.

The Imperial Suites turned out to be a decent enough choice for a base in Dubai, for a two night stopover, without being particularly special.
Pros: Location, 5 minutes walk from the Metro station, in 40 degree heat you want to be as close as possible. Friendly, helpful staff, the guy at the travel desk organised us a city tour at a moment's notice and the other staff were accommodating. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. The room was very spacious.
Cons: Pretty noisy outside at night. The rooms seem to have a problem with damp, probably from the aircon. We were moved from our first room because the carpets were wet, the second was not much better. Furniture and fittings are fairly old. Missing a few basics like bathmats. WiFi is paid, and seemed expensive.

This was my second trip to Dubai in a year &t all. I stayed 3 Nights in Bur Dubai & last night in Jumeirah near the beach. I was planning there would be some beach activity in Dubai but its not like Goa where its buzzing with activity. The place was very silent & that's when we wished we had spent the 4th Night in Imperial Suites as well.
Now about the hotel, you might find hotels with better interiors but I can assure you that the morning breakfast/ location/ & staff friendliness wont be the same. Its very much Indian. Pizza Hut & Mcd is quite closeby. You also have super market, mobile store, foreign exchange & famous Rajdhani restaurant all close by.
Rooms are large in size & do have a bath tub. Only one Hindi channel but who goes to Dubai to watch tv.

Room Tip: Go for a Luxury Suite, if you are a family with two kids.

Stayed at the imperial suites with my wife. The best partof the hotel is its location. The nearest metro station is at a 5 mins walk. eating joints like KFC and McDonalds at a 2 minute walk. There is also a store nearby where one can shop for day to day groceries like soft drinks, water etc.
The hotel itself is a good 3 star property. The reception is quite small(however sufficient). The rooms are quite spacious. Our room was on the 6th floor.

The breakfast offered by the Hotel is quite a lavish spread (mainly designed keeping the major client base that comes from India).

The concierge as well as the eople at the reception were quite helpful.

All-in-all a lovely stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a re-furbished room on a higher floor and facing the main road to save yourself from the noi...

This hotel is located right in the Bur Dubai Area and had got many shops around for all your needs. The metro station is right around the corner. The food mainly suits the Indian taste but there are options available. The rates are reasonable too and the tariff suits the pocket..

Room Tip: Go to Higher floor since there is a night club on ground floor
