I had heard so many good things about this restaurant but always kept thinking what could make it different from the other kabab shops/restaurants in the city. I was so mistaken! Right from the moment we entered, the service levels were obvious with the guys ensuring that we got a good table - we had showed up without a reservation on a busy weekend but that didnt stop them from entertaining us. We selected to go for the buffet dinner and I am glad that we didnt select from the ala carte menu because everything we tried made us take one more serving (we ate a lot!) and the food was impeccable in taste.
The Mango Lassi (mango milk shake) was the most amazing lassi I have had in a long time. If available, a must try.
The buffet is highly recommended, you get to try most of their dishes. But if not available, their chicken kababs and tikkas are very juicy, the afghan rice/pulao is good, the chicken korma was excellent and the sweet dishes are traditional pakistani and obviously sweet :)
This place is inexpensive when compared to other overly priced kabab shops and the food is worth it. A single person's buffet cost (excluding drinks) was 59 dirhams. Someone mentioned to me it was cheaper in Ramadan (sigh!).
Recommended for all big gatherings (the sitting hall was massive) and the external seating is very serene and quiet. Try the outside seating in the UAE winter.
