“AVOID AVIOD AVOID”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

This place is the pits. I took a 6 yr old and a 4 yr old. I have never been to such run down, empty, lifeless educational/come museum facility in my life. It was cheap to get into, but i would rather have not bothered. it is run down and half the children's exhibits do not work. half of the place was devoid of anything at all. IT SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN.

“Gone downhill”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

I recently visited Children's City, a place I have previously taken my children and used to love. I was absolutely shocked at the current state of the place. On the ground floor, half the exhibits that the children used to love have been removed leaving a vast empty space, with no signs explaining why this was the case. On the second floor, previous interactive games/zones were largely not working or boarded up! The top floor was the same. It was a great disappointment as no reason was given or any definite answer as to whether it would be renovated. My money was wasted.

“Not worth the time”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2013

Terribly waste of time if you are an overseas visitor. The exhibits are poorly maintained and sparse. Its bad compared to other science centres around the world. Definitely in need of an upgrade and maintenence.

“A gem of a find for younger kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

Really worthwhile for younger children to explore science and nature, the human body to the solar system. Walking into a human head and seeing how it works, or working the controls of a helicopter.

The pictorial history of DXB alone is worth the admission - and to see that 10 years ago there was nothing where you now have 50+ skyscrapers in the Marina is mind blowing!

This is how inter active museums should be, and just the voice of Luke Sktwalker in the Planets movie on an IMAx like screen is entertaining.

A great half day entertainment off the beaten track, but well worth the visit all for 30AED for family of 4.

“Very Educating”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2013

Children's city is surely a worth visit for kids. Kids from age 4 and above can surely enjoy - learn - and have fun at this place.
There are 3 floors offering information about science, space, technology, animals, cultures etc (in Arabic and English). They have also Planetarium shows, and there is small fast food restaurant.

It is located inside the Dubai Creek park, we got there by taxi for only 10 Dirhams from Burjuman metro station, the entrance is not expensive 20 Dhs only; plus 5 Dhs for the entrance of Dubai's creek park .
Inside Dubai's creek park there is also the dolphinarium that shouldn't be missed , the dolphins show start at 11 AM and 6 PM.
You can arrange to enjoy the park ( activities like camel/pony/horse rides, inflatable slides, cycling track and different types of cycles for rent, a cable car ride..) and both the dolphinarium and Children's city in one day.

Children's City is highly recommended for anyone with young children .
