Hotel staff was friendly,
Breakfast same every morning. Had a couple of meals in the restaurant, was good
Room was clean but small for 2 adults and 1child, on reservation at the Emirates office we advise
Them that we would need extra bed for child, unfortunately this was not the case.

Overall a gud experience except few hiccups...location in market with one way street...either get off on signal nd walk few meter s or pay extra to taxi guys fr nothing. Mix crowd. Next to Meena bazar..gud eateries nearby like karachi darbar or sindh punjab fr indian delicacies. BF wl surely hv three items (boiled egg, omlette nd sausages). one indian item keeps changing everyday. Nobody picks up in housekeeping so ultimately reception does everything so it takes atleast two reminders. Overall a gud budget hotel.

this was the city hotel we stayed at for our 4th trip to dubai. it is close to the main shopping centres, the fahidi metro station was 10 mins away. the staff were friendly, and the rooms were nice and big. they do have airport pick up and transfer however they do not do shuttles any where else. wifi is available in the rooms. hotel is a bit inside and it is best to remember it is right across from the royal ascot hotel. they do have a club or karaoke club in the hotel and at times you could hear the music at night but if you have rooms on the 3rd floor you cannot hear it.

Arrived in Dubai on an early flight from Sydney. Jumped on a coach that took us to our hotel, at first glance of our hotel I was disappointed as the hotel surrounding were not as nice as depicted on the website. We were greeted by one of the hotels porters, he took our bags and brought them to our room. On entry to our triple room we found that the room had an awful smell and even worse of a view, overlooking a dirty side street with clothes hangig from dirty apartments next door. Our air conditioning unit was also very loud but when we asked the porter about it, we found he did not speak a word of English. The problem was not solved. Apart from that room was clean. The buffet breakfast was adequate. Overall not with the money and would not stay here again.

Location is central near the old part of Dubai, everywhere is quite accessible, ideal for nearby Metro station Al Fahidi, or taxi ride. I found the staff from concierge, check-in, waiters etc to be friendly and helpful throughout my 2week stay. Hotel room was cleaned every day, fridge handy for cold drinks & aircon was welcome in the heat. It has free WI-FI which was ideal for going online and if you like your gadgets there are numerous computer shops nearby. I booked B&B and the breakfast was adequate, as I was out most days can comment on restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler who wanted a good, inexpensive 3 star hotel within easy reach of most of the city. Would definitely stay there again when in Dubai.

Room Tip: I changed rooms because i'm a non smoker and had no problems doing this, they even sent a staff...

I used to stay in Sharjah because Sharjah hotels are supposed to be cheaper than the ones in Dubai, but in Sharjah either the service is poor or the rooms offered are of poor quality until I heard about the Admiral and decided to give a try. For a cheaper price than the one offered in Sharjah - after negotiation -, I have the incredible chance to stay in a nice hotel, with a comfortable and clean room, assisted by a friendly staff and provided with a great business center.

As we say in the US, lucky me!

Admiral Plaza in Bur Dubai is a very comfortable hotel with easy accessibility to Bus station (for inter city and local travel), Al Ghubaiba Metro is also 6-7 mins of easy walking as is the Abra (ferry) station to go to Deirra. The buffet breakfast is good and the staff is very cordial and the rooms are clean. You can be spoilt with the choice of the number of restaurants around the hotel.
