This is one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. And I feel like home; very special thanks to Mr. Wael Ibrahim , front desk staff and to each and every one works in rimal rotana muragabat.
The rooms are excellent and the area is near by metro station, supermarkets and plenty of food restaurant.

Arrived at the Rimal on morning of Wed 31 Oct 2012, Sydney time, about 8am. About 25 Dhs from airport in a taxi, arrived to find rooms not ready for occupation yet the company had booked them as we were arriving early. We were told we were "no shows" so obviously they had double dipped and rented the rooms we had paid for. That was a hiccup. Offered breakfast whilst we waited, that was also in the rate so nothing special there for the inconvenience, but having said that brekky fine, fruits, nuts, cereals, some hot food and toast etc etc typical middle of the road buffett, clean fast and plentiful. When did go to room found that painters were in mine with wet paint on the walls and th accompanying paint odour made the room uninhabitable, so again back down to reception and then got another room, which was fine.

The room I had had 2x 3/4 beds kitchenette AC flat screen clean spacious all the bath products etc. The gym was on the top floor ovelrooing the pool which was heated. This is a nice rooftop arrangement and in my view if the gym equipment all works then it is usually a sign that the general maintenance of the hotel is ok and it was.

The hotel recommended a tour company, LAMA tours.... dont do it, we did the dubai city tour for 6 of us at 120 dirhams each. We got picked up in a van to transfer us to the tour coach it was ditry with rubbish in it, ac needed re gassing we were taken to a carpark where we waited in the heat for 40 minutes for the coach to arrive, no water no food just left there, in the end it took some serious talking to find out where the tour bus was etc, When it did arrive it was ok, but of course we went to 2 shops not mentioned in the itinerary. Why did we go there? Ill let u decide.

The guide was a Indian guy and all six of us could bearely understand a word he said. Overall forgetable tour.

Opposite the hotel is a syrian restaurant el shami serves great food for six main meals bar bq, chicken breads dips veges meat etc etc no alcohol litte over 100 AUD and all are big eaters and it stopped us. Behind the hotel is the grand central hotel it has a dragon den bar and fillipino nightclub if you want to have a drink, as the RImal doesnt do alcohol.

In the gand central watch out for the nigerian hookers!!!! who came over and attached themsleves to our table drinking pints through straws!!!!!! Nice.

The Rimal is a good hotel, clean, well kept, reasonably price, nothing is central is this city that sprawls, it was 25 dhs to dubai mall and 20 from texile and gold souks.

The Grand central...... I didnt see the rooms but the bar was fine and didnt get to the nightclub.

LAMA tours give them a miss.

Did a little shopping bet buys were the 100% cashmere pashminas.

What to say !! From the moment you step into the Hotel you feel special,the staff just great , the guests you speak to are all delighted.Food is delicious and served with a smile.I can' wait to return in January.

Room Tip: 7 th floor I find the best.

A wonderful hotel to stay.Close proximity to the airport and several shopping malls. Staff were exceptionall friendly and willing to assist with our needs. Hotel room was very clean and quiet with excellent service in all areas.Room was large with kitchen. Wi fi a little expensive compared to others but fast and easy to access. Would not hesitate to return.

I am a fan of the Rotana Group of Hotels and have stayed in several hotels around the Middle East. This hotel is poorly located for tourism and shopping, but everything is easily accessible by taxi in Dubai. The hotel itself was good. We had a large family suite with a lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It was spacious and nicely decorated and the bathrooms were great! The restaurant was also good and the breakfast had good variety and the food was of a high standard. However, the service was a little mixed as housekeeping was very slow and notoriously forgetful and we had to make several phone calls a day to ensure that we had towels etc. We also had a few issues with the taxis serving the hotel and the way we were treated by the drivers and the bell staff. Overall, it wasn't the end of the world and hotel is still recommended and reflects good value.

Just spent three nights in the Rimal Rotana,it's a very nice clean hotel with comfortable rooms and the staff are very courteous and friendly. Breakfast was a feast with hot and cold food. The one thing I would criticize is the cost of the Wi Fi I would expect it to be free in a business hotel or at least reasonable,at 14 British pounds for 24 hrs its not cheap.

This hotel is located in Deira which is quite a way from the main tourist area of Jumeirah Beach. Deira seemed like more of a business district. However, do not let this put you off as taxis are very cheap!!! The hotel was chosen for us by TravelBag on a stop over from Australia. The hotel was fautless. The staff were so friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast varied from day to day with different cheeses, meats, fruits, cereals and salads, but there was something there for everyone. If you just wanted jam on toast, then you could just have jam on toast. If you wanted a 3 egg omlette, whites only with dairy free cheese, you only had to ask! (i did not ask for this by the way, it's just to get my point across ;-) It was a lovely hotel but as there is so much to do in Dubai, we didn't spend much time there.

Thank you for the positive review about the Hotel Facilities, as we always strive to meet the diversity of our valuable guest’s expectations.

I agree with you that the hotel is a little far from the new attraction sites located in Jumairah, and Dubai Marina which are mainly a Beach activities.

However, being located in the old city of Dubai, we are nearby a lot of historical, and heritage attractions.

Dubai Metro and efficient Transpiration network within the city, made it very convenient and easy to guests and visitors to travel with minimum travelling time anywhere in Dubai.

It is very cost effective and safe travel tools, and Rimal location has a unique advantage being 5 minutes walking from Al Rigga Metro Station.
