“I sought help from Dubai Metro App”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Dubai Metro is simply exceptional. I traveled on it for the best time of my Dubai journey. Throughout my stint with it, Dubai Metro App from Finoit labs made my trip quite convenient.

“Economical way to travel Dubai & tour Dubai too”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

5 star Dubai standard metros. What more to say?

Also a great way to see the city because most of the tracks are above ground!

“Easy & Economical Transportation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

The Dubai Metro is one of the finer compliments to the city. It provides access near end-to-end of SZR in the city. The addition of the Green Line further enables the line for passenger movement from the densely populated old city to the newer city areas.

It's a very clean and effective mode of transportation to get around the city. Also, really a good way to see the city and all the tall buildings and skylines as it's elevated above the roadway, so your view is far less obstructed.

“Beats being stuck in traffic!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

I ride the metro to and from work every day of the work week. It's cheap, it's clean (unless it's quitting time and you get stuck with some people with very poor personal hygiene), it's traffic-free. My only concern is that there are no security personnel on the platforms now, there used to be one on every station. Men are using the women only cars to get on the train and then they move on to the next car. Or during rush hour there is no crowd control. A couple of times women are squeezed into the car so tightly that those near the door stand to get caught when the doors close. RTA should do something about it before someone gets hurt.

“Accessible and easy public transportation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

As a new resident to Dubai, the Metro system is great. Accessible along Shiek Khalid Road at numerous stops, and stopping at the main areas (malls, business) it is convenient for the day to day commuter. With the additional bonus of access to the airport terminals, coming off your plane and catching the Metro to your hotel/apartment is convenient and fast.
There are a number of common rules to abide by: first carriage is gold class; second carriage is 'woman only', the signage is small but be aware you will be asked to move to the adjoining carriage if you jump on into this section; dress conservatively as you are in the GCC area; do not bring food/drink open onto the Metro; and if coming on from the airport, pack your duty free baggage as you may be refused entry.
If applying these simple common rules, you'll enjoy easy access to the Metro, NOI ticketing for multiple trips (card system) with easy re-charging, and enjoy the relaxing and cool view of Dubai.
