“Once in a lifetime”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

We visited At.mosphere for afternoon tea whilst staying in Dubai in November. We booked online the day before and were lucky to be given a window seat. We were booked for 15.30 and managed to see the afternoon day light and also the sunset. We had the non alcoholic afternoon tea which included unlimited soft drinks and mocktails at a cost of £50 per head. The tea included 5 open finger sandwiches, 1 quiche, 1 slider roll, 5 mini cakes and 2 scones each as well as a pot of tea afterwards. We spent nearly 2 1/2 hours at the table and were never asked to move even when the restaurant area was getting busy. As we had a reservation we didn't need to queue for access to the top etc. For the extra cost of having tea compared with the At The Top viewing deck it is certainly worth it. Food quality was good although not as good as what you would get having afternoon tea in the hotels in London. Only criticism was the dress code - no flip flops, no bare shoulders, no t-shirts or shorts for men only long sleeve shirts and trousers with full shoes. We were not that compliant purely because of the fact we didn't bring some of the items with us on holiday and no one said anything but just be warned! Entrance is a little confusing - its not with the same queue as at At The Top, it is on the next floor up in the mall - when you ask make sure you tell them you have a reservation at At.mosphere and not just for At The Top.

“I expected more....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

The food was nice, but nothing superspecial. The view is interesting, but not more. Major issue: it was freezing cold, even with a jacket. after complaining, we heard, it cannot be changed.
If you go, bring warm clothing with you

“Terrible - don't waste your time.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012 via mobile

Shocking service, ridiculous prices, the view wasn't that good either. The viewing deck above was much better.
The policy of paying 200 dirham 'per gentleman' is ridiculous and not explained clearly if at all. What this actually is is that any men in the group have to spend at least 200 dirhams individually despite the cost of the lady's drink that he is paying for. The waitress came over and explained that I hadn't spent enough, despite spending 250 dirhams on myself and my wife's drink, I purchased a glass of champagne to make up the difference, and quickly finished it and left.
This was part of my wife's birthday celebrations and this experience ruined our evening, thanks very much.

“Great view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

What a view, but besides that not worth the money. Food was very nice, but you also pay a lot extra for the view. Anyway it was a good night with a great Kanonkop Paul Sauer 2005 redwine and Dog Point white at very decent prices.

But 123 floors in 1 minute is impressive. Try it, but dont put your food expectations to high.

“Excellent experience!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

The Restaurant was amazing! Great Food, Great Ambience, Great View and Definitely Great Service. We had a table at the centre of the restaurant as all the window tables were booked however the hostess transferred us to the window table as soon as it was available. As that's exactly what we wanted. We ordered duck and beef carpaccio as our 1st course. It was spectacular. The steaks were our main course and couldn't have asked for it to be cooked perfectly. Overall experience was perfect.
