Arrived at 7.00pm and were asked if we wanted a drink in the bar first, which we did. I had their signature cocktail and my partner also had a cocktail. Theses were just delicious. Someone came with menus for us to look at while we had our drinks and some lovely potato crisps. We did not feel rushed, and enjoyed the ambience and our drinks as we chose our food. The menu was explained to us. After we finished our drinks (40 mins or so), we were shown to our table and ordered our food. We shared the pork ribs, ( it was explained that they were slightly sweet) and for the Main, I had the seabass, my partner the waygu beef. We were given some warm bread and butter and ordered a lovely bottle of Malbec which was reasonably priced.
The ribs were just amazing and the meat just fell off the bone. My seabass was delicious and my partner said it was the best beef he has had. Well cooked and hot food.
For dessert, I had the chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream and my partner the sticky toffee pudding.
We thought that the whole evening was just amazing. The food was just fabulous and the staff attentive and very helpful and polite. We could not fault one thing. All in all a great evening, a good choice of food, fabulous food and wine and great service. Definitely recommended!
