“Bistro Style”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013 via mobile

Great location with a very comfortable terrace with a view of the little marina.

The menu reflect some of the bistro French classic and the value for money is amazing!

Very prompt and friendly service and the manager is always around to ensure everything runs properly.

Hidden jewel in Festival City.

“Romantic for couple, enjoyable for birthday dinner !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

I have been there twice, the first one, when me and my husband stayed in Intercontinental. As we walking down the stairs, from the main lounge, we saw this cozy restaurant. So we decided to have dinner there. It was February, so it's still cold weather in Dubai, it's really nice to seat outside. We had a very nice evening there. Then I decided to celebrate my husband's birthday there. Which was in March (2012). I talk to the manager and the chef, to arange the menu and the seat set up. They gave me a very good ideas, a practical and economic solution (that's what I call anyway), good for both ways. They gave me choices of set menu, along with the hot/cold beverage, which is ended cheaper than we thought.
On the birthday dinner, all the 90% of the guests that we invited, they enjoyed the whole evening. It's so fascinating.

“ok wouldn't rush back”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

went on a quiet night so very few people in. the staff were very attentive and couldn't really complain about the food. The menu was not very extensive but enough choice and had specials of the day which the waitress told us about immediately. All the food was freshly made but nothing to rave about.

“not bad”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Been couple of times at Bistro Madeleine. I recommend the cold cut platter above all. Especially if you live in Middle East, you will know how hard it is to find good ham. Foie gras was correct. Other dishes were quite heavy. I however don't really like the ambiance.. looks very dark, and used to be empty any time i went.
