“I didn't like the hotel!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2011

We stayed at Dusit Princess hotel in 2 rooms for 4 nights. The lobby is very dark and looks old and badly decorated. The rooms look very old and the carbet is very dirty. The referigrators are not working properly. The buffet breakfast is very poor with no varieties. No one offered tea or coffee during breakfast in our whole stay. We reserved a Family Summer Suite Getaway - Stay 4 Pay 3 with breakfast, but they denied the breakfast when we arrived. After negotiating with them, they agreed. There are no service elevators (the use the guests' elevator to transfer laggages). The only thing I like in the hotel is the swimming pool.

The hotel location is fantastic and close to the City Center. Just a 2 minute walk to Metro you will not need to worry about your transportation. Don’t let me start on the hotel staff who are professional and they are there for you at all times. Anything you asked for was fulfilled in a heartbeat. They are mainly from Thailand (Hotel theme is Thai) and if you know the culture you will know that Thai are known for hospitality. I was very happy with to enjoy the gym and pool and I was blessed to have a nice housekeeper named Thomas Pastor who made me feel at home.

Room Tip: The room size for Superior Double room does not fit for double occupancy. I was lucky to be alone as...

I recently traveled to Dubai for a two night stay and was very pleased to be greeted graciously with chilled fruit juice and congenial smiles by all staff. The Front Desk Supervisor recalled my name whenever I would come across her in the hotel and any needs I expressed were met immediately. Rem, who cared for my group during our training session in the conference room went out of her way to be helpful.

It is true that this is not an easy hotel for the taxis to locate...but it's worth the search!

The hotel was quite hard to find for the taxi..i guess its because it is a new hotel. Opposite the city centre residence & mall. close to the airport & about 10 mins to the Gold souk. Nice stay, pleasant & helpful staff. If you are looking for a simple, nice & airy hotel, this one i will recommend. The rooms are with very simple decor & my standard room seems a bit small. I loved the bathroom! spacious & clean. Jacuzzi style bathtub (small). The checked out at 12noon, but kept my things in their locker room & was able to use most of their facilities (gym for shower) until 11pm that i finally left.

CON: Not sure the floor was cleaned everyday! i saw something on the floor & it never left their for the 4 days i spent their.
My daughter & I enjoyed our stay.....
NB: had a complementary internet service...i enjoyed that too...

The hotel was beautiful, very new and stylish. The staff were very friendly and new your name after 1day, they even new it was my birthday when i came down to the desk one day.The hotel was really nice, but in a wierd place? next to one of the malls and close to the airport but far away from other places. The beauty spa want very good, if the had done it up and make it nice i defently would of gone in there for a pamper! But the hotel was excellent for money

We had a business meeting at the hotel this month. The facilities were to our requirements and the banquet staff were supportive especially Ms. Rem who was in charge. In fact we are getting used to this place now... we will surely go back soon.

We were a bit sceptical at first when booking the Dusit Princess hotel - but were positively surprised in every respect. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms really nice, the staff excellent and friendly. We booked a long time in advance and it was incredibly cheap for this kind of luxurious hotel. What is also important is that it is just next to the subway station "Deira City Centre", which makes it very easy to get around, considering the enormous distances in Dubai (DON'T believe googlemaps - the hotel is NOT in the financial centre where the Burj Khalifa is, but east of the river. If you want to know where it is, google "Deira City Centre metro station Dubai"). I can only recommend this excellent hotel, really great great value for the price you pay!!

Room Tip: Book in advance. Take metro station Deira City
