I stayed at Citimax for 4 days and must say it was a pleasant stay. The room is small compared to other hotels in Dubai, but is well planned out, and if you are a single traveler it wont cause any concern. It is clean and tidy.
The Indian and Chinese restaurants in the property are worth a visit. Also there is a sports bar where you can get a drink and have a good time. The hotel is full of just two nationalities Indians and Russians, and is usualy fully occupied. The lobby is a busy place as Wifi is free there.
The only negative feedback is, the breakfast. It costed AED 40 per person, and was not worth it. Everyday it was the same breakfast, and that too not much choice. If the hotel improves it, or reduces the price to AED 15 or so, it will be much better.
One rule they are very particular about is-more than 2 people are not allowed in a room even for short time, so book rooms accordingly.
Lot of nightlife around the hotel, so you wont get bored.
Overall a nice place to stay in, and I recommend it for family and solo travellors
