we stayed at the belvedere court for 6 nights from 29l12/12-04/01/13. after a cruise from dubai.
The apartment was very well equiped and spacious with 2 king beds very comfortable, super A/C, well equipped kitchenette with microwave, washing machine, 42inch plasma tv with full satelite channels. The location is good as its 5 minutes walk from Burjuman mall, and many resteraunts in the vacinity. The washing machine is an unknown brand no instructions on how to use it, called housekeeping and the man who came did not know how to operate, no instructions available, couldnt work the spin cycle, and repeated requests to other housekeeping people resulted in a shrug and no understand english. There was also a leak in the u bend pipe under bathroom washbasin which flooded the floor every time it was used. Called maintenace 3 times to fix showed them where the leak was, they couldnt be bothered to fix it. Breakfast served in the
Pavilion was like a bun fight, poor service limited variety, dishes not replenished, once emptied and was not worth $10 US, with many better options for breakfast near by.The pool on the roofdeck was super with plenty of loungers, and also gym and 2 sauanas one each for men and women. Generally the reception staff were friendly and very helpful. There are many apartment hotels in al kuwait street and all around the area. If on a budget try one of them and splurge on tours, shopping and resteraunts. the variety is unbeleivable and prices reasonable.

I stayed there for four nights in December and can tell you that this hotel comes nowhere near European standards, the room, bathroom and kitchen were filthy and when I complained to reception they sent cleaners to the room while I went to the shop, when I returned there had been some improvement but it was still far below the basic standard required with greasy fingermarks all over the doors and the washing machine too dirty to use, I asked the cleaners if this was an acceptable standard and did not get a reply, there is a Spinney supermarket ten minutes walk away which is very good, also the Big Bus tour bus stops close by but is expensive at 50 pounds for two days, I went to the nearby restaurants which are mostly Indian and was amazed to see rat traps placed all around outside, I did not eat there. taxi from the airport costs about 5 pounds. overall I made a very poor choice to stay there based on previous reviews on this site, I travel a lot and I can assure you I am not overreacting this is a very poor hotel, I would not stay there again or recomend to anyone else.......

Room Tip: Pass on by, plenty of better hotels around.

I stayed here early December with family en route to Australia. We had a one bed apt and it was absolutely lovely, I was disappointed with the food at breakfast resulting in us only having it one morning. I found the food was cold. The first two days and nights I could not fault as all staff were lovely and very helpful but on our final night, the electricity went on our floor. I contacted main reception to report the fault, I got no reaction. After 20 mins of reporting the fault I had to go down stairs and find out what was being done to fix the problem, but the front desk staff had done nothing. I waited for someone to come up. It took nearly an hour before the problem was fixed. The part I was most disappointed with, was, I had Pre-arranged transport for early the following morning as we were leaving. No apologies were passed either on the night or the next morning on departure. I felt the staff could have acknowledged the problem but no.
I possibly would stay here again as it is great value for money as a location, but a bit on the quiet side!

EXCELLENT, TOO GOOD, Stayed with my Wife and 6 yr old Daughter. My Daughter enjoyed the most and that was most satisfying for Me. Everything is good and cant blame for anything. Good Proximity to super store, eating joints, Metro and right on the Main road.

Room Tip: Take the Suite or the one which has a bedroom and a living room and try for Higher Floors.

This hotel is rated with 3 stars, but the only thing I considered to be 3 stars was the price. Everything else exceeded my expectations.

The one bedroom apartment was huge. The bedroom itself wasn't that big, but the living room was very large. There was a separate fully equipped kitchen (with also a laundry machine) and a separate toilet in addition to the bathroom. Both the bedroom and the living room were equipped with TV's.

Cleaning the rooms was efficient, they even washed the dishes.

The area itself is quite peaceful, but there are supermarkets and a plenty of restaurants within a 10-minute walk from the hotel. The Karama metro station is also close and most of the places of interest and the airport can be reached by metro. From the metro station, there is also a bus (C10) to Jumeira Beach Park (and buses to several other destinations, e.g. bus 29 to the Dubai Mall, in case you don't want to take the metro - the bus takes you a bit closer). Taxis are really cheap, if you don't want to use the public transport.

The breakfast had a wide selection and it was fresh. Sometimes the restaurant was quite packed during the breakfast, which of course wasn't very enjoyable. During lunch and dinner the food in the restaurant wasn't that special and at those times, the restaurant was almost empty. However, it was nice to have the opportunity to eat there.

The pool area on the roof of the building was nice with sun chairs and a wonderful attendant (Stanley) looking after the area and the guests using it.

The front desk was very helpful and catered to all the needs we had. If we needed something in the room, they sent someone to bring it. They arranged a desert safari for 175 AED / person. Some companies do offer desert safaris on the web for cheaper, but this was very convenient, as we got to stay in the room on the safari day and they called us, when the driver came to pick us up. I got a bit suspicious, when they asked to pay for the safari in advance and refused to give a receipt, but everything worked out fine and we got just what we paid for.

Using the Internet cost 10 AED / hour. One had to get a paper slip with a username and a password from the front desk, which was valid for 24 hours. During that 24 hours, one could log out and continue using the Internet later - I could e.g. connect for synchronizing emails, read and write emails offline and then reconnect for synchronizing again.

We had diwali vacation in Nov 2012 at this Hotel apartment. Rooms were specious, clean with full kitchen facility. Bathrooms were not upto the mark and need maintanence. While requesting for connecting room, given with simle, though hotel was quite full. Breakfast was also nice.
