“Good front desk staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

I stayed at this hotel for two nights when I stopped over in Dubai in September. The hotel isn't anything too fancy but comfortable enough to recharge those batteries. Rooms are good sized and the air con was good. There is an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi on the top floor which is good for a splash only (as its not very big) and sunbathing.

Breakfast was also included and I remember reading previous reviews where this was poorly rated, however I find it sufficient enough if you're not after anything too authentic. They had a mixture of hot and cold food; from what you could expect from a continental breakfast to some hot cooked dishes, with plentiful of tea, coffee and fruit juices.

For anyone wanting to book any day trips, there is a counter down at reception where you can get these booked. The closest attraction is the mall of emirates, which is a short walk from the hotel. For anywhere else, I suggest jumping into a taxi.

The one thing I'd like to raise is the helpfulness of the front desk team. I had issues with one of my pre-booked tours and despite multiple times trying to resolve this myself, wasn't getting anywhere. The staff at reception got out of their way to help me make phone calls to sort this out. Although ultimately it was one of the tour guides from the company which resolved my issue, I still think the staff deserved a praise for trying to help.

Note wifi is not free and you will have to pay for this but luckily when I booked with STA travel, that was an extra they thrown in.

Room Tip: Ask for a room from the second floor upwards away from the bar as the karaoke nights can disturb you...

A good place to stay and sleep. I stayed in a deluxe room with airport pick-up and drop off. It is situated near Mall of Emirates which can be reached by a couple of minutes walk. The hotel has a buffet breakfast which is good. It also has a pub.
I was away in the morning and came late... basically just to sleep. The room was clean and had coffee maker etc.
It was a good value for money and I would stay there again.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms are better and have free WiFi.

I was in dubai for short business trip. The hotel is not luxuary but very good for business trip as I was busy all the day. The room was very clean and tidy. Stuff is nice and helpful. The only disadvantage was the breakfast, there was no enough varaities, bread was not fresh. The hotel overall is very good for solo travellers. But i dont recommend it for families.

Room Tip: there is no viewaround the hotel so it is not really important the room location

I stayed her for 3 nights. I had an executive room paid approx $62 a night. It was a clean hotel. Bed was comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's located behind mall of emirates a 5-10min walk from hotel. Water bottles are provided. Take marked taxis everywhere as unmarked taxis charge more as I found out the hard way. A supermarket is few doors down. Dubai mall is 20-3min drive.

The only issue I have with this hotel is no wifi is provided free whether in the lobby or your room. If you want to use wifi it's 15 dirhams for 30mins which is $5 aus which is a rip off.

I would stay here again!

I visited Dubai for a leisure trip and stayed at this hotel. It is a nice hotel located near Emirates mall. It's a total value for money thing. The rooms very good and so was the food. The service was also better than most of the other places.

Room Tip: All rooms are good, but I would suggest you to go for the rooms facing outside.

i never regret that i choose this hotel for my holidays. i got early check-in and late check-out without any charges. Receptionist Ms. Florme and Philipp gave me excellent treatment which i never thought that i will get in a 3 star hotel. Housekeeping was perfect i stayed in 8th FLR. Mall is accessible. supermarket is just right behind the hotel. Only thing is that the food/buffet was really poor..

Room Tip: " choose to be in 8th flr."
