We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at this hotel. We arrived on an early flight not expecting to be able to check in right away but we were able to store our luggage and use the pool and shower facilities on the third floor to freshen up before heading out to look around the beach and marina. We did end up getting our room earlier than the stated check in time and were upgraded to a two bedroom apartment. The apartment was great, very spacious and modern with a hugh bathroom off the main bedroom and another decent bathroom on the second room. The lounge area is huge and there are flat screen TV's in every room. The balcony was nice although we were facing a building that was being constructed, just bad luck there! I was worried that the room might be noisy as the hotel is close to the highway and there is lots of building work around, but it was very quiet and we had a great sleep.
We didn't eat at the restaurant so can't comment on that, but the staff in the reception area were fantastic and so helpful with any query.
The location of the hotel is good for access to the Marina and beach, its a short walk down to the Beach Walk. Taxi's are very cheap to get around so we used these to get to attractions that were further away.
All in all we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonably priced hotel in the Marina area.

I stopped over in Dubai for 3 nights on my way to India. I went with my family and we stayed at the Radisson Blu Residences. We were given a 2 Bedroom apartment with city views on the top floor. The hotel was definitely in top notch condition. One thing you will notice is you won't find many hotels that are under a 4 star ratings in Dubai. Dubai is all about excellent service and the Radisson Blu definitely offered it. Our apartment was easily 1200 sq ft, this was a huge plus because with a family of four going on an extended trip to India we had a lot of bags. So the additional room that the hotel offered helped out a lot. One of the things we didnt enjoy was the location of the Hotel. It was really hard to find out where to exactly live in Dubai. The Mariana area felt like one of the better posh areas that we would enjoy. We definately enjoyed the hotel but the location wasn't the best. Majority of the attractions and things to do were closer to downtown. Also the train system was to help get around but Dubai is a big city that is spread out. The hotel is 'close' to the train. Approximately 3/4 of mile walk to the nearest station.

The positives:
-Large 2 bedroom apartment - around 1200 sq ft. - Was very comfortable and roomy.
-Great city view from balcony
-Exceptionally Clean and Quiet
-Excellent Service - Most requests were taken care of quickly

The negatives:
-The location was a real damper on the trip, made it difficult to get around, Taxis can get expensive.
-Not really close to the train

If this is your first visit to Dubai I can't recommend staying here. But if this isn't or you have no interest of seeing the major attractions in Dubai then I highly recommend this Hotel. The hotel offers everything you'd expect from a top hotel. Oh by the way there is also a pool which we didnt get a chance to take advantage of!

*note there is a new building being built right next to the hotel, based on the construction in Dec 2012 it didnt appear it would obsure any views of the city.

Thank you for your kind feedback. I hope we have the opportunity of welcoming you back soon.
On your next visit you should try the Marina Mall and Walk, JBR with many Restaurants and coffee shops both of which are within 5 minutes walk. Try The Marina Metro station it maybe a little closer as is within a 7 minute walk.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3+ weeks when we first moved to Dubai. We stayed in a studio like room with a small kitchen and dinning table.
The hotel is in a good location to explore the Marina, Marina Mall and Beach Walk. For our purpose the hotel was just what we had in mind, but if I were coming to Dubai for a resort like vacation/ experience I might not suggest this hotel.

Room Tip: The hotel is on the main Highway, perhaps request a room not over looking it.

We recently stayed at the hotel for one night. We needed a place to crash after a long flight while our apartment was getting ready.

We had a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen, the standard was fair, the downside to the room was that it was located directly over Sheikh Zayed Road which is heavily trafficked. It seemed like the balcony door didn't seal properly so it was quite noisy. I should add that we didn't call the reception about it.

The service was good and the hotel is very close to Dubai Marina Mall which is great for shopping.

We booked a 2 bed to meet up with friends from Australia making their first visit to the Middle East. Unfortunantly the room was only the 5th floor overlooking a noisy/ugly construction site, I was so dissapointed that this was their intro to Dubai. I had thought the hotel was actually in the marina but it's actually back one from the waterfront. The rooms were comfy enough, perhaps the couch a bit passed it's useby. It was raining the weekend we were there but the pool looked nice enough, albeit looked over by contruction workers. Gym was small but functional. We used Hertz so it was convenient having the desk in the hotel. We also used the pizza restaurant for deliveries which was really nice. The most dissapointing aspect of our stay was concierge. The night before we booked a car through them (of their choosing and afiliation) for 11:30am to take us to a brunch. At 10:30am we got a call to say the car was here, we said we booked for 11:30am, we aren't even ready yet. We walked down at 11:25am, no car. The car didn't want to wait and concerierge did not book us another. It seemed they didn't know what to do and couldn't help us. They must have a very poor relationship with their suppliers. We asked them to try and flag a taxi but no good. We asked them to take us in a hotel car, no, no-one drives or has a license. We explained the restaurant only holds our booking for 15mins or we loose it. I have to say we were very angry and upset. An hour later they managed to find us a car and thoughtfully they paid for our trip. I would really encourage the hotel to work on it's supplier relationships, the whole point of us booking was for the certainty, otherwise why would you pay double a normal taxi?? I've never had that happen to us before at a hotel and it just added to my embarrassment on choosing this hotel. The room is OK for business trips or maybe Dubai regulars who just want a crash pad for shopping trips etc. It's similar to staying in a Holiday Inn Express, the basics are covered. Oh one more thing I liked was the toiletries, finally smart packaging that allows you to actually get to the contents, instead of doing the shower throw wrestle to get stuff out!

Room Tip: As of Dec 2012 there is construction right next door, avoid the lower levels as they start work earl...

We stayed in this residence for 1 night. We got the studio room. The studio had decent size: a kitchen area a dining table and a couch. Overall experience was good. Kitchen well equiped with quality kitchenware (although toaster was not working) and dishware. We enjoyed a breakfast in the balcony expecially that the weather was nice this time of the year. Balcony overlloking Sheikh Zayed Road.
Sleep quality: the bed was large and great. The only disadvantages were the pillows which were very soft and the noise from the traffic in front of the hotel.
Checkin and check out processes were fast and efficient and took only 5 minutes.
We have also tried Mama Mia restaurant and the food was great.

Room Tip: Get a high floor to enjoy better view and less traffic noise.

Hotel is directly in front of the most noisy and busy road in Dubai, not at the marina, even if in the marina area.
Parking is ok.
Wireless is ok.
Room average, nothing special, few furnitures.
Bathroom poor, bad lighting, few towels.
Had a problem with the room window that was not closing properly, thus making the room very noisy, impossible to sleep! Asked to have the room changed but nothing was available till next day....after I keept asking they offered me to pay extra to upgrade the room!!! Unaccetable!
Overall not a good experience.
