“The real french taste in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

La cuisine is the most authentic French restaurant in Jeddah. And in fact the oldest. It is the only restaurant which serves the real entrecote steak with French fries and the salad. Please do try the Lobster Thermidor too. and of course the French onion soup.

“Fantastic French cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

This is a fantastic restaurant located on Palestine street. Finding it could be a little tricky as the signage says "the french restaurant" rather than la cuisine. The interiors are quite posh with white and purple curtains and wood paneled walls.
For starters we ordered the lobster bisque and cassolette de la mer. The soup was absolutely perfect, with the right creaminess and served at the right temperature. The cassolette was delicious, setting up the stage for the main course.
I was under the impression that the 3 sauces fillet would come on the side, rather all 3 came over the fillet itself. Luckily, all the sauces were delicious complementing a perfect tenderloin.
With a meal this good, we had to go for desserts, the waiter highly recommended the chocolate souffles and I have to admit, it probably is the best souffles we have had!

What i liked:
*fantastic food
*great service
*the souffles was genius!

What i disliked:
*prices are quite high
*the souffles takes 30 minutes to prepare

“elegant food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

The meat is tender, and the taste is prime; and you feel you are being served by butlers in a royal castle.

“Great Food but service poor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

Very delicious lobster Menu, try the Lobster Soup bisque and grilled lobster with butter, excellent. Famous for L' Entrecote steak and superb french fries. Lovely desserts too, from Creme brulee to Chocolate Souffle. Quantity is not very substancial and service not very efficient. You must take your loved one on Valentines day, very romanticly decorated.
Food very good, but very pricey. It is situated in a very nice street called Tahlia, where you can also take a stroll after your dinner. I would definitely go again.
