“quite poor!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

agree with most reviews. had to go there because rest was full.
luckily, when we arrived they didn't have any spare room anymore so got upgraded in business 'suite'. romm's OK, bathroom quite mediocre.
overall the place is in serious need of renovation. looks and feels really old, dirty...
no wifi in the room.
poor service. supposed to be picked up from airport but we never saw the driver - to their credit they agreed to take it off the bill.
won't go again if I can avoid.
haven't tried the food.

Room Tip: don;t go there!

This hotel is situated in a questionable area of Jeddah. Jeddah, in general, is not very friendly to women being alone, and this area did not help much with that.

The room is decently sized, as is the bathroom. But neither of them were particularly clean as you would expect in a hotel. The mugs were dirty, coffee stains on the tray (which could've been cleaned with a simple wipe), there were pieces of hair in the shower - completely off-putting.

Additionally, it's close to impossible to sleep in this hotel as there is constantly noise from the traffic outside, or the thin walls and poor sound-proofing which results in noise from the guests in the rooms around yours and the staff in the passage making it seem as if you're in a big dorm.

The service, generally, was good. However, friendly staff do not makeup for the less than clean rooms, hardly appetising room service, a lack of sleep, and false advertising regarding WiFi in all the rooms (WiFi is only available in the lobby, Ethernet cables in the rooms).

I would not recommend this hotel, especially since it seems like Jeddah does have better options.

The hotel was described as modernised and fresh. In fact it was tired and not very clean and well kept. Old room service dishes and food left outside. Mattresses left stored in the corridors. The maintenance is very poor and the hotel feels unloved. The wifi its said on the web-site is in all rooms. This is not correct its only available in the public and lobby area. Please ignore their web-site review.
The noise of music was loud at 11 pm...they explained its OK its a wedding. But it will finish sometime after midnight.......So why put a guest in a room above a wedding reception? Restaurants are empty and look uninteresting. Only book if you cannot get another room in Jeddah.

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip only to find that the pool is still closed and that the Hotel hosts private parties until 3am most nights of the week.
The music volume was ridiculously loud and even after several calls to reception nothing was done about it.
The rooms are in a poor state with fittings being held together with Brown tape.

Nice hotel, as you would expect from the Ramada group. Well air conditioned, nice and cool inside despite 36 degrees plus outside. Restaurants closed all day due to Ramadan, but when open food not too bad. Very little to see in the immediate area, traffic crazy.

Rooms were dated and old require modernising, bathrooms again dated. No wifi in room so not useful as a business hotel, room service menu was very disappointing so was forced to goto the italian resturant downstairs. Service was ok at best. Doesn't live upto the ramada brand overall.
