“Reasonable, could improve”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2011

Booked direct with hotel for 1 night stay, booking process was fine and in English language. Check in was slow, other hotel staff did nothing to help sole person handling check-in's. Room preference was provided. Room decor good, room a reasonable size and I would rate as 4 star. Variety of TV channels available. Internet available in rooms but not used. Room service in evening was very prompt, accurate and food quality good, although portion on small side. Room service in morning was terrible and seemed to be a language issue, order was incorrect although promptly served. No time to argue and wait for resolution, only time to eat and depart for appointment. Check out was fairly quick and accurate billing. I would stay at this hotel again as it was reasonable value but hotel needs to improve service levels of room service order takers.

Meer Navaz

Very nice hotel in the World.

It is really good and worth place to stay.

I felt very happy duirng my stay at this Hotel.

Hotel staffs are very good people to serve with the customers.

The only problem is they should have good knowledge in English. I found more people speaks arabic than English which makes problem some time.

I like the location where the hotel is located in Jeddah.

Nice and Neat place to Stay.

Good place to stay with family.

I really enjoyed my life during this stay.

I recommend my friends to stay here whenever they visit to Jeddah

Stayed Meridien Jeddah last week, service experience was horrible, impossible to meet any managers, even GM. Someone replied “YOU CAN MEET OBAMA EASILY BUT NOT OUR GM, HE DOES NOT MEET ANYONE” Starwood should keep extra eyes on its brand for own image, simply destroying by Ignorant employee.

Got the job done but the hotel is dated and the breakfast is very basic.
Service at breakfast was horrible.
Only worth it if you will just sleep there and the price is less than $100 / day.

Le Meridien is looking a bit tired these days, but still manages to provide good accommodation for business travellers. It's not cheap, but I guess it's a reasonable rate for a busy city centre.

The lack of in-room tea/coffee facilities is an oversight...everywhere offers this nowadays!

The Club level quiet breakfast area is welcome in the morning, although lounging at low tables to eat isn't. The beakfast choice is OK.

Whilst this hotel isn't really up there with others in the chain I've stayed in, it is difficult to fault it in specific ways. The ambiance just wasn't particularly welcoming, and the coffee shop in the lobby wasn't prepared to serve us a lemon-mint drink, for fear of upsetting others...? Go figure!

I stayed in Le Meridien for three nights for business porpouses.
It is not the best hotel ever, but considering that good hotels in Jeddah are not very common, Le Meridien is the best option. Especially important is the location; I found the service quite good; and rooms are fine. Maybe more 4-stars than 5, but anyway it is one of the best options in Jeddah.

The hotel is well located for abusiness trip; however the inet costs were ridiculous!! Central in Jeddah on the main road/highway running through Jeddah and hence taxis and transport is easy. Although you are near the highway the rooms were quiet. there is a Jeddah Market just behind the hotel, great for the odd gift and electronics. gym and health club facilities good. Massage unfortunately not professional...more like a body rub. I must add it was "purely" massage and nothing dodgy. i was there during Ramadan and so you were forced o have room service breakfast which was extremely costly for what it was and the fact that you had no choice. i did not dine in at the hotel as the prices were high and only Iftar Buffet...yet again no choice. the rooms were clean although could do with a revamp. The bed was phenominal; 10/10 for that and the bedsheets were clean, white and crisp.
i would not pas it for a western family hotel as the facilities are restricted and you are better off paying the extra and staying at one of the corniche hotels like Westin or Al Bilad.
