“One of the best Malls in Jeddah City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

Well this is a shopping mall, nothing more or less. But if you compare this mall with rest of the malls in the city, this is certainly one of the best malls in Jeddah. It houses almost all the major western brands. There is a big food court at the top floor and a super market on the ground floor (Danube Market). The good part of this mall is that it has a very big parking space surrounding the whole mall. Red Sea mall is located in the North Jeddah, next to the Red Sea (not adjacent though).

“One of the best Jeddah's Mall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2014

I spent some Friday afternoons at this mall with colleagues and friends and found it pleasant.
During the weekends it is always packed and it could be difficult to find a free table at the food court. however there are many shops available and most probably you could find there whatever you are looking for.

just remember that on Friday the shops open at 16.30 - 17.00 hrs.

It is not the Dubai Mall or Mall of Emirates, but still is a good option where to spend a couple of shopping hours.

“Nothing special”

Actually Jeddah contains a lot of malls, this one nowadays considered as the biggest, but it is not so big as I expected, most of the people either going yo food court for eating or Danob for shopping.

“Somewhat of a disappointment”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

I visited this mall during my stay in Jeddah after hearing a lot of good things about it. Having visited several American malls, I did not find this one to be particularly large/luxurious, but it seems to be very popular amongst the locals. Probably the biggest problem I had was the absence of fitting rooms in all the stores, which forces you to purchase all the clothing you would like to try on, and take it to the washroom to see how it looks on you. This was especially inconvenient for me, since most of the stores had a "no returns" policy for credit card purchases, and I was unprepared for this. Secondly, although to food court was massive, there were very few healthy choices, and almost no vegetarian ones. Lastly, every store in the mall closes for half an hour during prayer time, which wastes a lot of time, and seems unnecessary since the prayer takes only five minutes. Overall, this mall would probably be great for a local who is well acquainted with Saudi malls, but as a tourist, I find that the smaller souks provide a much more authentic, enjoyable, and unique shopping experience.
