This is the smaller of the two famous waterfalls in Luang Prabang but I thought it was great. The river water is brown and disgusting but, at these falls, it at least looks a little bluer. There are many levels to the falls where you can swim. Because the water still is a little murky, it's hard to see rocks and stuff so you'll end up with a lot of stubbed toes. Despite the little kids running around and jumping off the falls, it does seem a bit dangerous with a ton of rocks and a strong current. If you're careful, though, it's a very fun place to spend a few hours cooling off. This is also where 'Flight of the Gibbon' ziplining takes place so bring some extra money for that if you're going.
