Having lived close to Italy for a while we've had our share of really good pizzas - the pizzas we've had at Phan Luang tonight can take it up with the best of them. Fluffy dough, not too thick not too thin covered with delicious tomato sauce and lots of your choice of topping. They only have a few pizzas on the menu, but if you, for example, want a veggie pizza, just ask for it. Pizzas are between 45000 and 60000 Kip - considering the high quality we thought it was absolutely worth it. The owner is just lovely and very attentive. We really appreciated the complimentary chilled water and lots of refills. Atmosphere is very laid-back, nice music, great setting for a lovely evening. Hope to be back within the next few days before we've got to leave Luang Prabang. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for your very warm and generous review. It's very cool of you to share your dining experience with the world. I have never been to Italy myself but I dream about going on a 'food tour' throughout Italy to get ideas about recipies and techniques. Thip and I work hard at what we do everyday to maintain proper consistancy and provide Luang Prabang with a truly unique atmosphere and pizza experience. Our menu is small and we don't have desserts and salads yet. We are still brainstorming about ideas that are beyond the norm yet manageable for only 2 people to prepare and serve. There is much more planning that goes into it than just coming up with a savory food idea. However, we do plan to have new things on the menu soon. Thank you again. It was our pleasure to meet you and to have you as our guests. Thip and I wish you the very best of times where ever your traveling adventures take you.
