“Good meal”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2013

Ate here on our first night in Luang Prabang. Found the service good, menu had good variety, great prices and food good. Great for a break from Asian style cuisine when you need it. Don't expect pizza as good as in Italy , but all in all it was good pizza.

“Okay Pizza, don't expect a smile with the service.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

Like a number of reviewers, we were looking for something a bit different after 3 weeks of Thai and Lao food. We thought pizza and we came across this place on our way out of the night market. In fairness, it was a bit more expensive than most and we thought that because it was called 'The Pizza', it would have a decent wood fired pizza oven in the back. No such luck. However the pizza's weren't too bad, but had probaby been done in a shallow pan. The service thought was pretty bad and not typical of most of the restaurants we have visited in Luang Prabang....there were no smiles and the young girl that served us was more interested in what was happening on her phone than making the dining experience a good one for us. We would have left a tip if the service had been friendly, but as it wasn't we didnt bother. To be fair, one pizza with a side order of salad or chips would fill up a couple. 2 pizzas was a bit too much (the Hawaiian was better than the Laos Sausage).

“Tired of Asian food!?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

It happens, after weeks in Asia to fancy some of your local staples... This pizza place delivers on expectations, mediocre pizza for Italian standards, but probably just ok for the rest of the world. And it dies the trick. On the main road, good people watching from the veranda.

“Pizza just ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We ate at The Pizza one night during our visit to Luang Prabang as we fancied a change after a number of Laotian meals and came across the restaurant on our way out of the night market. It seemed pretty popular & had a convincing number of pizzas on the menu (also had Lao food). The place has a nice atmosphere with an open terrace on the main Sisavangvong Road, although a little worn around the edges. The pizza was fine but I wouldn't rave about it - was hot & cheesy & did the job (we were particularly hungry after a day trek) but not anything special (pretty sure mushrooms came out of a can). Also relatively expensive compared to other meals we had. Would search harder to find a better pizza place if you have time & patience.

“Bad pizza”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013 via mobile

With such name we were waiting good pizza. But they were not good at all : too dry, low quantity of tomato sauce, pasta was too crispy. One of the worst pizza i ever eat. Thé secund plate was indochina beef : not good also! A piece of steak With a slide of cheese (the same as you put in hamburger).
One advice : don't go there
