The Number One temple in Luang Prabang, both officially but also aesthetically from the parochial perspective of the tourist (who needs to pay the princely sum of 20,000 Kip to enter). Lots of separate stupas, sims and mini temples (there may well be a more technical word for that but you know what we mean...). The walls are beautifully decorated ( the 'Tree of Life' was particularly impressive) and there are some unusual things to be found including the supposedly unfinished royal funeral carriage. All adds-up to a real must-see location in Luang Prabang.
