This is indeed a riverside hotel, but it also sits across from a spot where a lot of tourists seem to congregate at night and drink and make a lot of noise. During the day, the tuk tuk drivers seem to hang out and make a lot of noise as well. We asked reception to try to deal with the noise problems at night, but were told it was a matter for the town elders. The hotel itself is fine, though a bit mean with the toiletries, and just one tiny bit of soap. The owner seemed quite rude on the one occasion I came into contact with him, but the receptionists were always pleasant and cheerful. The breakfast was really nice in a little cafe next door. I wouldn't stay here again, as there were so many nicer places to stay and all probably about the same price.
