“Nice room and pool”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

We were lucky to get a large ground floor room close to the small but very useful pool. Many of the rooms seem to be in the basement.

The hotel is just out of the centre, so you have to take a tuk tuk back and forth.

Perfect airport PU and DO, but terrible internet. It seemed to only work if there was only one person on it in the hotel.

Staff good, and there were many of them. However management was not to be seen at all. Everything went well for us, but I'm not sure how anything would have got fixed if it something needing fixing.

I really enjoyed this place. The family that runs this small boutique hotel is fantastic - really, really friendly and helpful. When we arrived, they had ended up just upgrading us so we stayed in some 'deluxe twins,' which were overly spacious with some nice decor and really comfortable bedding. The rooms were real clean, the A/C cranked and was quiet, and the bathroom seemed really 'luxurious' (very large too).

The main grounds were real nice and homey and the pool looked great (we unfortunately spent no time at it though). Breakfast was included and was really delicious. Maybe we were there at an off-time, but I also didn't see anyone else. I felt like we had the whole place to ourselves with personal service.

I didn't find it to be an issue, but I could see the only downside to be that it was a little removed from the old quarter. It was either a tuk-tuk ride to the night market area or a 15 minute walk. If you want something in the heart of everything, this wouldn't be your place.

I really liked this place and would stay here again in a second.

Room Tip: The deluxe twins were great, but we were basically in the basement. I'd request I high room next...

This boutique hotel was difficult to find, nobody seemed to know where it was including the information centre.

Rooms were nice but it is a little to far out of town for my liking.
We only saw two other couples for the entire time we were there!

Room Tip: Downstairs was good

This is a very lovely property in LP. The rooms are large, big beds, decent bathrooms, clean. Nice small pool. Very close to all the sights and only a few minutes from the Mekong. However I was very annoyed because I had made reservations, which were confirmed, for two rooms three months in advance but was then told just before arrival date that we had been transferred to a much, much inferior hotel. This is simply not acceptable and because of this I would not stay again. And the breakfast was inferior to what is offered in this part of the world.

Room Tip: The second floor rooms would be preferable to ground ( note: ground floor is always called the !st f...

We stayed in one suites which was a great size. Shower massive but leaked consistently.
Breakfast minimal and disappointing given we paid over $100 per night. It's a couple of kms outside town but makes for a short taxi or walk.
Friendly staff. Bike hire cheap and worthwhile to get a look around and outside town.

stayed at this hotel for 5 nights just recently I would not recommend it at all Too far from town around 3klm they charge for bikes and transfers breakfast was below par bacon isn't bacon but a small piece of ham orange juice cordial suite rooms a good size not very clean and shower would block up pool area uninviting filter turned on once and only for a short period the whole time we were their staff friendly but dont like to do too much sit around on computer mostly. They do offer free airport transfers much better accommodation closer to town
