“Average food, above average prices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

I must say I enjoyed sitting in the drizzle on the patio, but the food was no where as good as my own cooking. I had the Boeuf Bourguignon - maybe there's only one good thing on the menu (as the other reviewers suggest?)

There are far better upscale places to eat in Luang Prabang, in my opinion.

“Not good !”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Really disappointed as was really looking forward to dining here . The food was just not good . Ordered the "big" Wiener schnitzel which was by no means big for starters . Was average at best , the accompanying salad - if you would call it that was tired and looked like it had sat on a plate for days .
The sides of fries - average again but the vegetables really poor . Salty and uneatable .
The garlic bread for starters also was garlic paste spread on thickly to thinly cut bread .
Didn't bother with desert as we had planned .

“superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

this place is perfect for having some good Belgium food and a real Belgium beer. During my 3 days in Luang Prabang I went here twice. Just to get away for a moment from rice and noodles and to sit at a nice and quiet place.
I tried the traditional Belgium dishes 'gehakt balletjes in tomatensaus' and 'stoofvlees'. Of course with Belgium fries and mayonaise.
Besides the good food, the owners are pleasant people for a chat.
Keep up the god work guys.

“A nice taste of Belgium!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012

Had the house specialty beef stew, frites, and a delicious Maredsous beer on my first night. The service was very friendly and not too pricey.

“Below average food in a nice setting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

Me and my partner ate here after reading verybgood things about it, we were very disappointed with the food! Atmosphere was lovely, staff were friendly, food arrived promptly but it was big let down I'm afraid to say. After travelling SEA for the last four months and eating alot of rice and noodles it is a treat when we fork out for some western food. We both ordered the pizza expecting for the price a good size one, when it camebit was very small indeed, had a side salad on the plate to make up for the lack if pizza! It was tasty enough though, just disappointed by the level of food in such a beautiful place!I am unable to comment on their other dishes so maybe they are better than the pizzas...worth a try if your not too hungry :)
