We went to this restaurant for the first time on April 30, 2012. Actually we had won a Voucher for Dinner for Two in a Tambola game.
I ordered Thai Clear Chicken Soup and my husband, Seafood Chowder and for the starter we selected Avocado Chilli Prawn Salad. The main course that we selected was Charcoal Grilled Fish, Citrus Prawns and for desert Chocolate Souffle.
While our order was being prepared, we were served with breads, garlic bread and olive oil - honey dippings which tasted good.
My soup was excellent with a tangy sauce whereas the seafood chowder that my husband ordered was not upto the mark. The Avocado Chilli Prawn Salad was not what we expected. The main ingredients, Avocado and Prawn were in very small portion and without chilli. However, the dressing was delicious.
Came the main dishes, Citrus Prawns served with a small portion of rice (not even a small bowl size) were passable but the Charcoal Grilled Fish was excellent with chopped garlic fried in butter. The portions were so small that if we had not eaten breads and the salad, we would not have been satiated.
The ambience of the restaurant is simple, a selection of floral or colored table wear would have added to it. However, selectio of the paintings were awesome.
The service was beyond the expectations and a thumbs up for it. Keep it up. Will surely go again.
