fantastic hotel and waiters will bring you a drink all day long whilst you lazy round the pool, animation team were great kept you smiling and involved they were always smiling and looked after you and did different themes each night for the entertainment, beach great, food was great and lots of different choices each day, room was kept cleaned and tidied every day, onsite shop, bank and shesha cafe are all great and the onsite photographer did lovely pics at a good price, must visit local market at sousse, jet skies good value and the pirate boat and you must jump in the sea off the side as was brilliant,

Room Tip: facing out to the front entrance very quiet and enough sun to enjoy, keep balcony door closed for th...

We got back last week after a two week holiday to Marhaba Beach. We was a party of 6, me ,my partner, his daughter and son in law, along with 2 of there boys, age 12 and 17. First impression of the hotel was good. Room average, spacious as hotel rooms go, could of been a bit cleaner. Food lovely, plenty of choice, and hot. Breakfast always waiting for cups to be brought out of the kitchen, (need more). Don't like the 2 sittings and that you have to sit at same table for the full 2wks, we was early's for first 2 nights then asked for late sitting, which was ok, then after 2 nights our waiter (Lotfi) asked if we would go back to early sitting cos the other family wanted lates, we said no and was told would cause problem for him. The next night we in on lates and put on 2 tables, told the waiter we wasn't happy and wanted to be put on one table the next night, which he did, but he was real moody with us after that, then expected to get a good review from us, we tipped him every day too. That was a bug bear, they all expected tips, all but one, Omar, the pool barman, he was great, always cheerful, and fetching beer to my partner, even when he hadn't asked for it,lol. Don't trust Ali Baba with the trips. The beach was great, entertainment very poor, sousse dirty. Don't think I'll go back.

We had a wonderful holiday here in July with me and my son and daughter. Great choice of food, excellent waiter service. Room nice and spacious considering three sharing. Lovely friendly bar man in the evening. Topped off by the fun, hardworking animation team. Special thanks to Alex, Tiga and Bebo. Hello hello!!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times, particularly in the winter and plan to go back soon. I would have given the hotel five stars but the animation last time (January) was not as good as usual as the more experienced animator was on holiday. The keyboard player is a good character, the reception staff are nice and really helpful to me as I had injured my foot.

Room Tip: Most rooms good. Sea view do not usually have sunny balconies in the winter.

Get booking guys. This holiday location is perfect. In the centre of the action 10 min walk to Sousse Medina ,but more importantly that 10 min walk is not even necessary as under your noses you have everything, great hotel staff, after a poor transfer we were greeted with cold FREE water (which is free during your whole stay and I was drinking 6 bottles plus per day) and a cocktail even though it was after closing time. Then to the room beautiful in position second floor overlooking the pool stage and beach view, well worth the extra pennies for the view, great air con, shower and the beds are better than Premier Travel Inn, no they are honestly!! The maid was great, changing our bedding and towels when required and making little towel displays with sweets on top. Great indoor pool and gym. Then to the pool man, Steve-o what a legend! pay him as little or as often as you like and your perfect spot next to the pool, in the gardens or wherever, is yours for your whole stay. The bar staff, Mr Musa and his son Rafik where brilliant and kept us both in drinks every night and Mr Omar Shariff did the same from 8am till 5pm, a small tip is all that is required to get such emotional loyalty that you will want these guys working for you back home. Food is great either at the restaurants or the Beach bar and plenty of different meals on offer from 7am until 10pm.
That brings me to the best part of our holiday the animation team, Mustafa, Jimmy, Mr DJ Tiga Whoop Whoop, Sammy, William, Sofien and Bibo.
Mustafa and his crew are by far the best animation team in Tunisia. The way these guys look after you throughout your stay is fantastic, the way they perform on stage is spectacular and more importantly the way they are so humble. Yes these guys are why we have already booked to go back next year. Hats off too you guys you truly are top guys ( and girls Sofien. Haha). The only issue I had on my whole stay was idiot german kids picking up the Tortoises and throwing them to the floor like they where toys or rocks, but as soon as I complained to the management they put them away in an enclosed area, maybe it was my tattooed, 21 stone body that twisted their arm, or the way I said that I would put the kids in the small enclosed area if they didn't sort it, but either way it worked.

The best holiday I have had since getting married in Cyprus back in the day. Well done love you all and see in 12 months. Mr Football, Robb and Julia. X

Room Tip: Add a tip, hmmmmm, the only tip I would add is book here. You will love it, your room location is gr...

Just got back last night after a week here.. was a bit dubious about travelling alone with my 6 year old daughter but needn't have worried.. arrived at hotel to be met by lovely helpful staff after a very long wait at passport control (def could do with more staff on in airport) transfer was fine, only half hr. Room great although will ask for a sea/pool view next time.. cleaned daily with fresh towels. Restaurant and beach snack bar great - always something we liked, even for my picky 6 yr old! Lovely clean beach and pool area great for adults and kids..wise move to tip the pool guy Steve a couple of dinar each day to reserve beds for you..
ENTERTAINMENT..wooohooo this is where this hotel scores points. The ANIMATION TEAM were amazing. A special thanks to Bibo, Sam William Jimmy Tiga and not forgetting Moostafa the guy in charge..kept us entertained day and night and no pressure to join in if you prefer to chill.. made some fab friends and will def be back for more of the same..

Room Tip: Ask for a sea or pool view...higher up better

The actual hotel is gorgeous as are the grounds and we found the rooms to be very nice and clean and modern. The food was very repetitive but I always managed to find something to eat and enjoyed the food I did have however others that I was with did not. There were 2 downfalls for us 1 was the weather - it was cloudy and raining on and off and our first few nights were spent in the lobby with no entertainment as it was raining badly. The 2nd was that there is hardly anything to do outside of the hotel although Port El Kantoui was lovely and we went there on a few occasions but there's only so much shopping you can do in the same place. Both of these points were not the fault of the hotel though. The beach was lovely and the sand was so soft. You do get hassled if you pass the barriers to go in the sea though we found that if we said no then we weren't bothered further. One of the best aspects of this hotel was the entertainment team, they were absolutely fantastic and so much fun. How they worked the hours they did I will never know. They really made our holiday ( Bobo, Nino, Gigi and the rest of the team - thank you!). We will not be returning to Sousse but this is not down to the hotel or staff, just because of the location.
