This hotel is located within walking distance of the Library and the city centre. It has stunning views of the bay.

The only thing that let this hotel down was the beds. I have a bad back which was aggrevated by the very hard beds so I did not sleep very well. So was glad we were only there for two nights.

We visited this hotel for lunch on a day trip to Alexandria from Cairo, having read that it was highly recommended. Unfortunately the service was ridiculously slow even though they weren't at all busy and although there were four of us eating, two of our meals turned up at least five minutes after the first two. The food was pretty naff and it was a good job service was included in the cost of the meal as we would not have left a tip. Also the ladies toilet in the lobby was absolutely filthy. Don't put this hotel on your list of "things to do when visiting Egypt"!!!

Best of a noisy bunch. Located on the very noisy corniche we switched to this hotel because we were unable to sleep because of the noise in the other hotel. The windows and doors are properly sealed which helps but it is always going to be noisy in Alexandria because of the traffic. The food at the 24 hour cafe was good and the rooms were clean and nicely refurbished. Very cute old elevator in the lobby.

Had problems getting a reply by internet, but booking was intact - no deposit or credit card details asked for. Arrived Cairo late and rang them, so they held the rooms past 6pm. We had twin adjoining rooms, facing the corniche. Beautiful sumptuous old world style rooms, very clean. Friendly staff, good location. This is an old hotel, so don't expect modern sanitised 5 star. Only had breakfasts, which were great. Would stay there again.
