The first impression we got of the hotel was lousy. The night staff were clearly not used to check-ins (we arrived 2.30am due to bus issues), and spent ages, including failing to find our reservation and thus insisting on a price above what we had reserved. Further, the room we got was tiny, impressively filthy and quite worn. The bathroom was from the British occupation and had the toilet located directly underneath the shower (kind of inconvenient).
However, we got a new room when we asked for "something clean", and that was a quite different tale. Very spacious, clean, newly renovated, with a large, functional bathroom, and a balcony with view of the Mediterranean. The breakfast was served in the room (and was not at all to our taste...9, and the timing was chosen by the guy delivering it (varying between 8am & 9am). The hotel has good wifi in the reception, but none in the rooms.
