“Beautiful palace & impressive collection of jewelry”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2015

This palace belonged to one of the less known princesses of the previous Egyptian royal family. The palace was designed by European artists. It is medium in size, but really impressive with its stained glass windows, fancy wooden and marble floors, paintings and decorations. It is home to a nice collection of royal jewelry. Botha the palace and the collection are worth visiting.

“I thought that this was one for the wife. Wrong! Nicely presented.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2015

This is a modern history museum of the jewelery from the family members from King Farouk down to the last members until the revolution. Fascinating exhibition and well worth a few hours of time. The house alone is worth seeing.

“Sparkles”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2015

This collection is amazing. The jewelry itself is gorgeous. One of the best things is the building itself. Grand ceilings and paintings. I think the bathroom is as big as my house.
