After having read all the dithyrambic reviews on tripadvisor we thought that Bella Musica would be an excellent choice for our Christmas Eve dinner. We called to make a reservation and the person on the phone impolitely told us that the kitchen would close at 10 pm. So we booked a table for 9 - 9.30 pm.
Our first impression of the place was great, an atmospheric and wonderfully decorated cellar served as the dining area but unfortunately all tables were empty, not a very festive vibe for our Christmas Eve dinner.
A little after we were seated, the waitor informed us that we had until 10 pm to order (which we knew already) and that we would had to leave by 10.30 as the restaurant would close. That, was something we didnt expect and could have been told in advance on the phone (we are tourists after all) so that we went somewhere else instead, somewhere where we could at least stay a bit longer.
Anyhow, after accepting the fact that we would have to eat in a hurry we ordered the mexican salad and two main dishes (paprikas for my bf and chicken burito for myself). The salad was ok, the paprikas was ok but when i tried the burito I almost threw up. The chicken had a terrible taste and smell, as if it was spoiled for days, and I could not take a secone bite. Neither could my friend. So I had to return the dish and eat only salad as I didnt even have the time to order for something else.
Maybe it was our or their unlucky day but we left really disappointed both by the service and quality of the restaurant and would not consider going there ever again.
