“A typical ottoman house, nothing spectacular”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

Visited this museum based on its excellent reviews and left somewhat disappointed. the admission fee was 2 euros for just three rooms, a few cabinets of antiques and a couple manniquins dressed in ottoman period clothing. A woman rushed through an English description of the house in about 5 minutes about the house and the different rooms. The f acility was very clean however so i am sure the hotel is great. but as a museum, probably not a must see unless you have some time to kill.

“A must-see of Herzegovina”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

Since I live near, it had taken me a while to visit this place, (mostly because you're never aware of the beautiful things right there in front of you :), but once I visited I just keep coming back. This place is a piece of history, when you enter the house, you get this immediate feeling you're hundreds of years back in the past. The central part of the house is used as the representative part or the museum with all these artifacts from the Ottoman times, artifacts of historic, cultural and society importance. Being in Mostar on a daily basis, one forgets or doesn't see the beauty this city has. This house is truly an oasis in the everyday fast and globalized world. I didn't stay at the hotel, because I had no need for that, but I will once - because it'll feel like visiting a part of history.

“Museum and unique hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

Muslibegovic House accommodated us whilst on a tour of the Balkans. Mostar still has evidence of the troubles but the Museum and Hotel is an oasis of delight within the small compact town even if it may prove difficult to locate initially. Streets are narrow and parking can be a problem although there is enough space in the road outside of the hotel to leave a car, but please advise the staff before arrival so they can reserve space. Other reviewers have stated that the location is just a short walk from the Mostar Bridge and I can confirm that it is just 10 minutes at a casual pace. Steeped in history the building contains an interesting Museum - free to guests - and the rooms are well appointed with many old and traditional features. (A 4-poster bed has already been mentioned). Note that custom decrees you remove your shoes on entry so make sure there are no holes in your socks. An interesting place to visit and even more satisfying to stay for 1-2 nights

“Very authentic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Very friendly staff, and helpful in many ways. It is a little difficult to find, but contact the staff early and they will help with directions. Breakfast was delicious. Location was perfect for an easy walk to the old town.
